My brother and brother in law turning 30 this year, their girlfriend and wife said about hiring a large house for te noihydc

OP posts:

Don't worry, Onthedowns, we were just a bit concerned that you might not have survived this weekend of practising your basic training in Te Noihydc in anticipation of the weekend in the Summer.

But I think you now have a fairly good idea of what your family are expecting from the weekend, so you should be an expert by then - it only takes a few months.

Bluetrews25 · 21/01/2018 15:07

We can give you plenty of tips and hints. You only have to ask. And I'm sure there will be a local MN Te Noihydc support group where you will be able to borrow equipment if you have not yet invested in your own. Happy Te Noihydcing to you!

Roussette · 21/01/2018 15:19

Yay, it's onthedowns !!

You have caused us a lot of amusment and coming out on the Te Noihydc. We're with you and we do it!

Slippery · 21/01/2018 15:21

I think this thread is much more fun than your other one onthedowns. Given us all a great laugh Grin

ScreamingValenta · 21/01/2018 15:26

Great news about your forthcoming books, hesterton. I found your second book '50 Great Te Noihydc Cucumber Recipes' extremely useful.

hmmwhatatodo · 21/01/2018 17:17

Onthedowns..... you legend!

GreenTulips · 21/01/2018 18:28

I fell asleep whilst typing

We totally understand

alotalotalot · 21/01/2018 19:00

Can someone actually link to the other thread please. Although obviously it won't compare to this one, I do want to read what the secret life of a Te noihydcer looks like.

Lweji · 21/01/2018 19:29

How can you fall asleep while typing?
It must be a consequence of te noihydc. You should see the gp.

aimingforthesky · 21/01/2018 19:29

Careful everyone! Daily Fail are now starting to look into this, name changing is recommended for everyone involved unless you can stand up and be counted.

GreenTulips · 21/01/2018 19:37

The Daily Fail have their own secret circle......

Catsize · 21/01/2018 20:02

I used to practise te noihydc and have nothing to hide. It has become more acceptable nowadays, although it is still clearly shrouded in some secrecy, as is evident from this thread. However, I admit I had to have counselling and CBT as I found it too tiring on the joints.

OP, glad you are back and alive and well, although I am a little concerned that the effects of te noihydc may have been too much for you this time.

DamsonGin · 21/01/2018 20:02

Glad you're back, OP. Yes I'd go if I were you but don't forget your tarpaulin. And maybe kennel the pets, it's not for the likes of them.

EnidButton · 21/01/2018 22:10

I think MNHQ should have a section for te noihydc. I'm actually really surprised they don't already. It's becoming more and more mainstream since they had that storyline on Eastenders and then Celebrities started humping in the te noihydc wagon.

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 22/01/2018 12:40

So there's another thread that actually makes sense? Grin

PanPanPanPing · 22/01/2018 17:39

Yes, Thumb, here it is www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3143679-TO-not-go-on-family-weekend-away

But this one is far more amusing Grin

EnidButton · 22/01/2018 19:05

This thread makes perfect sense if you're adept in the art of te noihydc.

Lweji · 22/01/2018 19:43

This thread makes perfect sense if you're adept in the art of te noihydc

Although, it helps if you are a regular Mornington Crescent Station commuter. It's all about transferable skills.

Shockers · 22/01/2018 20:05

In my experience, te noihydc has a soporific effect, so its hardly surprising you fell asleep post session. A handful of almonds and a berocca are great energy boosters, if taken before you engage in the activity.

xXKXx · 22/01/2018 20:21

Wtf is te noihydc

Shockers · 22/01/2018 20:22

Don’t pretend you don’t know Wink

EnidButton · 22/01/2018 20:24

So coy.

Lweji · 22/01/2018 20:29

Just make sure you don't google it. Shock

I'll never be the same.

BougieQueen · 22/01/2018 20:31

Wth is "te noihydc" ? What have I missed?

Lweji · 22/01/2018 20:35

What have I missed?

The OP, clearly.
