To wonder how Ive gone this long without having an electric blanket.

Got it for xmas and its the best thing ever, although I never want to leave my bed again. Grin
Minus 10 outside currently but Im so cosy.

I suffer from lots of aches and pains and this is easing them so much.

My fitbit! It also measures my sleep. I really enjoy hitting targets and watching weight drop and fitness increase

Also, HRT patches!Grin

Straycatblue · 28/12/2017 21:14

Aah, was supposed to be in chat, not aibu!

Cant think of an electric blanket related aibu! Other than everyone should immediately go and get one.

Bluetooth speakers around the house!

MyBrilliantDisguise · 28/12/2017 21:15

Have a look at an electric throw, OP - you'll never leave the sofa!

I have one (not the one in the link) - it's fantastic and very, very cheap to run.

dinosaursandtea · 28/12/2017 21:16

My skincare regime! It’s made such a difference.

PuntasticUsername · 28/12/2017 21:18

Parking sensors, parking camera and adaptive cruise control. They are the BUSINESS.

PuntasticUsername · 28/12/2017 21:19

Oh, and lotion to treat blepharitis - which I hadn't even realised I had (until the optician told me). Honestly, life-changing.

BahHumbygge · 28/12/2017 21:19

Aeropress and coffee grinder Brew

Capelin · 28/12/2017 21:20

Epilator. I can’t believe it’s taken me so many years to find the hair removal method that suits me best.

SantaClauseMightWork · 28/12/2017 21:21

PuntasticUsername
Please explain. Sounds intriguing.

Audiobooks. Literally saved my sanity

BulletFox · 28/12/2017 21:25

A book, I was given it as a teenager (by someone who's now dead) and only read it this year. And then again and again and again, 20 times on the trot.

Discovered I love stilton and broccoli pasta

Really love the Liberty beauty advent calendar

Also that I couldn't give up my cat so when it came to moving at short notice I had to take the smaller/more expensive place which allowed me to take her

BelfortGabbz · 28/12/2017 21:25

Aveda hair products (saw a thread in Style and Beauty)

Cafetiere.

bobstersmum · 28/12/2017 21:25

The 25 minute cycle on my dishwasher!

jigsawpiece · 28/12/2017 21:26

What was the book?

TerracottaAmy · 28/12/2017 21:29

Sky Q
My hands free button on my car that lets me shout out any song title and it will play it. Grin
My Rocketbook re-usable notebook
Allen Carr (not the funny man) who has convinced DH to stop drinking
PG Tips decaf - tastes exactly the same
Scandal - just caught up and never heard of it before this year
Maggie noodles - OMG it’s dirty food and pure carbs but so fucking lovely.
Alexa - for so many reasons but ultimately, my 6 year old bypasses me and asks her all his daft questions. How many days until my birthday? Are witches real? How wide can a dog open his mouth? What happens if a bridge we drive over gets flooded right when we’re on it? Can cats eat ham? Why is a pigs blanket made of bacon? Why do trumps smell? and this is just today!

cathyclown · 28/12/2017 21:30

Straycat...

Oh I am with you with the electric blanket.

Cannot tolerate a hot bedroom (shut up now please ha ha) so getting into a lovely warm bed is just bliss, whilst the room is very cool.

Zzzzzzz within minutes. Lovely Jubbly and highly recommended.

thefourgp · 28/12/2017 21:32

Netflix - goodbye adverts, hello binge watching 😁

timeforheroes · 28/12/2017 21:32

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish
The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 5%
Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Moisturiser

Both recommendations from MN. Always had decent skin so neglected to look after it properly, hit 32 and realised the wrinkles and sun spots were appearing. Can honestly say my new regime has made a massive difference. Brighter skin and a noticeable difference wrinkle wise.

bimbobaggins · 28/12/2017 21:33

Business class travel. Although I will have to live without it .
Oh and daily, scandal here too. It seems everyone has watched it and I’d never heard of it. Binged watched up to series 4 and will watch the rest when I get back from holiday

Wide0penSpace · 28/12/2017 21:34

Cordless dyson. Love it, it makes my most hated chore a doddle.

Literally have just been looking at electric blankets! Any recommendations?

CoperCabana · 28/12/2017 21:36

Ok, so this is helpful for my birthday list!

Mine would be Instant Pot.

AhJaysus · 28/12/2017 21:37

Ditto the electric blanket.

bluejelly · 28/12/2017 21:37

Prozac.
Ameliorate (for keratosis pilaris).
Orzo (in that order)
