Or do you not wash your feet and legs in the shower?

Just a simple as it sounds. When I have a shower if I am not washing my hair I wash my armpits, the front of my body and my nether regions. Maybe down each arm and sometimes my neck. Literally never ever ever wash my legs unless I am shaving them. Also my feet never ever get washed. Seriously.

My husband thinks I am totally disgusting. Am I being unreasonable here or does the water dripping down my body do enough for my legs and feet? I think it does.

Also, if the plate has only had a few crumbs on it, sometimes I just rinse and put away - no soap at all 😱😱

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 22/12/2017 22:21

It's interesting that people are saying they smell and so thoroughly wash their feet

I don’t smell and do thoroughly wash my feet. Coincidence?

user9217 · 22/12/2017 22:21

@wavesandwellies
* when I wash my hair the plug gets clogged with hair so much that it creates a little soapy bath for them. that surely counts, right?*

^^ this. Same here BlushGrinGrin

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 22/12/2017 22:22

my feet and legs aren't covered in lasagne sauce and baked on cheese though

You don’t have toddlers then? 😂

Vitalogy · 22/12/2017 22:22

No dry skin and yes moisturise afterwards, coconut oil or almond oil. It happens Summer or Winter, Summertime I have shower on warm/cool, then in Winter warm, don't have it hot.

Lashalicious · 22/12/2017 22:23

You need to wash your feet! (in my mother voice)

Seriously, I would not feel clean nor would I be clean if I didn’t wash my feet, that’s one of the important parts to wash in my opinion! You can skim wash your legs I agree with your trickle down water theory there but the feet need a full on wash with soap between the toes and bottom of feet then a good rinse.

I would feel very icky if I took a shower but didn’t wash my feet. It would be akin to taking a shower but not brushing your teeth. Same eww feeling.

Esspee · 22/12/2017 22:23

You take a shower and only wash part of your body? Really? Shock

LondonLassInTheCountry · 22/12/2017 22:25

Water running down.

In the summer if i wear flip flops then i wash them! Otherwise no.

Disgusting really!

Maelstrop · 22/12/2017 22:26

I do one leg, weirdly, due to odd nooks and crannies from a deformity. I sometimes do the feet, but I’m worried about slipping.

Ceebs85 · 22/12/2017 22:26

Only in summer if they're grubby from wearing sandals. I'm with you OP x

AntiHop · 22/12/2017 22:26

I'm the same as you op. Except in summer when I'm wearing sandals, then I wash my feet.

MeadowHay · 22/12/2017 22:27

I love everyone rushing on to say they don't wash x area but it's ok cos they don't smell. Grin Funny

Gottagetmoving · 22/12/2017 22:27

Coincidence that I read an article last week that said feet should always 've washed in the shower. I sort of thought they got clean on their own in there! I wash them now.

NoSquirrels · 22/12/2017 22:28

I would not feel clean nor would I be clean if I didn’t wash my feet

Lash I agree that you would not feel clean, since you are used to the routine of washing your feet. But you would be clean (unless your feet are ridiculously funky?) because I am most definitely clean. And if I am, you would be too, I'm sure.

I get out of the shower, towel dry, including between my toes. It all got wet, therefore it all got washed enough, and the towel has exfoliated. Don't have stinky feet!

@festivedinosaur ew dirty washer upper you.

DistractedByIrrelevance · 22/12/2017 22:29

Meh. A slosh about in the pooled water seems to be good enough for my feet not to smell and I have never dried between my toes in my life. I look forward to the resulting infection. Does anyone know how long this might take? It’s been 30 odd years already...

Vitalogy · 22/12/2017 22:31

A slosh about in the pooled water You need your plug hole unblocking Mrs.

Skowvegas · 22/12/2017 22:32

Bit of fairy at the top of the plate and the water passing over the rest of plate will clean it?

If my plate had spent the day encased in jeans then I probably wouldn't even do that much. But generally they are caked in food so I put them in the dishwasher.

DonnyAndVladSittingInATree · 22/12/2017 22:32

For anyone worried about their balance or worried about standing on one foot while bending to wash feet get yourself one of these. Also great for reaching all parts of your back, although I feel that mightn’t be a consideration on this thread Grin

Or do you not wash your feet and legs in the shower?
MegEmski · 22/12/2017 22:33

Nope never. Do dry them thoroughly. Never had problems or particularly smelly feet!

Addictedtothisbloodyforum · 22/12/2017 22:33

Iv never washed feet or toes and I don't smell . I shower or bath daily

Jacobsbread · 22/12/2017 22:34

Shit. I have never washed my feet. I just realised it. I mean I've had showers and baths but I've never touched my feet with soap. I can't believe I've never thought about it. I certainly never go delving Bryan my toes. For the record my feet don't smell and I don't have any fungal conditions. However I think I should maybe make an effort from now on

BikeRunSki · 22/12/2017 22:34

I didn’t used to. Then I got a toenail infection and my podiatrist friend told me off. So now I do.

Jacobsbread · 22/12/2017 22:34

*between. I've no idea who Bryan is or whether he likes toe delving.
