Just a simple as it sounds. When I have a shower if I am not washing my hair I wash my armpits, the front of my body and my nether regions. Maybe down each arm and sometimes my neck. Literally never ever ever wash my legs unless I am shaving them. Also my feet never ever get washed. Seriously.

My husband thinks I am totally disgusting. Am I being unreasonable here or does the water dripping down my body do enough for my legs and feet? I think it does.

I dont wash my legs or feet unless I'm shaving. As for stinky feet, my feet are always freezing cold. They are never warm enough to stink. I wear 2tog thermal sock and sheepskin slippers and if I remove both my feet are still freezing to the touch.

I never know what to do. Usually I don't bother washing feet, for the same reasons you state. In the summer I do when I've been walking around barefoot and they look dirty.

Of course I wash my feet, between the toes one by one and everything. Every day! Not legs though, they don't need it.

Left arm, left pit, left boob.
Right arm, right put, right boob.
Chest and neck.
Stomach, left side, right side.
Shoulders and back.
Nethers ( front and back natch)
Buttocks
Right leg top to bottom and foot
Left leg top to bottom and foot.

Nope never had an issue with dead skin.
Just because I don't soap my legs doesn't mean my house gets dustier than the next persons

Nope - never ever wash legs or feet in shower unless I am shaving legs.

I can assure you all my feet and legs do not smell and are not in any way infected

So if you are washing your hair you don’t wash those areas?

Either way, grim. Wash your feet!! I wash everywhere except my hair everyday.

Now I know the reason why people can say they have a 5 minute shower. Takes me about 20 minutes which includes hair washing. Like PP says, dead skin cells removal needed. Although I only have a couple of showers a week.

I wash everything. Backs of knees can get sweaty and feet definitely need a proper scrub!

But not my legs, tbh. I don’t think they ‘need’ it.

And yes, I shower everyday. With warm water during the colder months

Genuinely I do not smell in fact people often compliment me on my fragrance.

However I do shower every day without fail.

On most issues I count as a total slattern by MN standards, but I very much do wash my feet every day, between the toes and everything. Legs just get a quick wipe.

I live in Oz...in a hot, dry state. If I didn't wash my feet which get blacker as each day progresses, I'd probably look utterly rank within a week!

I wash as little as possible of me to minimise the itching.

I do scrub my feet in flip flop season though as they get filthy.

I specifically wash my feet and legs in the shower. Legs would probably be fine with just the water running down, but feet need a proper wash!

I wash all of me in the shower, it wohld never occur to me not to wash down my arms, legs ir feet. I am firmly with your husband on this one.

I don’t understand why anyone would get in the shower and not take it as the cue to wash their body! It’s what you’re getting in for! If you’re pushed for time it’s (slightly) understandable but as a conscious decision not to?

I’m astonished by the amount of attention paid to backs of knees. I don’t think mine have an odour issue but it’s fairly hard to get my nose there these days!

My feet spend 5 minutes standing in soapy water and are then towel dried, which will remove a lot more dead skin than rubbing some shower gel in would.

I can see though that if you have particularly sweaty or smelly feet that you might need to pay extra attention to them. My feet don't smell at all - I've just sniffed the socks I've been wearing all day and I can still smell fabric conditioner on them. I could easily get away with wearing them tomorrow (I wouldn't though).

Only wash feet if they have actual dirt on them, so in summer when I've been wearing flipflops.
Never ever wash my legs, why would I? Both feet and legs have hot water and soap/shampoo running iver them in the shower from the washing of hair/pits/bits.
I don't smell, I promise.

wash face, neck and shoulders with soap.
rinse.
Shampoo hair.
Soap armpits, cleavage and boobs,
Soap front nether regions, soap bottom.
Soap feet including between the toes.
Rinse thoroughly.
Conditioner.
Shower gel or soap on bath lily on rest of body.
Rinse it all off thoroughly.

I do wonder if the soap between toes causes cracked skin between toes.
