Pls settle conundrum between me and friend : how rare is this man?

This man:

• is anywhere from 30 to 55 yo
• has his own house, no share or living with parents
• good job, makes at least 50% or more above average income (at least for his area)
• is 6' at least (though slightly less is OK)
• has all his hair and teeth
• is at least somewhat attractive and keeps fit
• is not abusive, violent etc
• doesn't gamble, smoke, do drugs or drink too much
• is great in bed (also no pencil dick)
• is intelligent, funny and fun to be around

Well in terms of his rarity, you're looking for 50% or more above average. Average. So you're looking at male earners in the top 10% of earners? Who are single, so subtract that from the 10%. Who are above average in height, so subtract that from the 10. Who haven't started to age by 55, that's 55 years old, so subtract that. I won't bother approaching the rest of your list. Get away from your list.

If he exists, he probably has a similarly unrealistic list of requirements and you/your friend are highly unlikely to meet them.

Pencil dick?

With the exception of height (he’s either 5.10 or 5.11) you are describing my dh I guess.

He’s really annoying at times though.

He’s also been married to me for nearly 20 years so that is probably a bit of a fatal flaw.

Can't comment on everything obviously( !!!)but my brother is like this (not as fit as he should be) he's 46 and still single. You'd have to be into aeroplanes and classic cars to get a look in though.

Anyway, I would guess many of us are married to men who fit your criteria. Dh isn't quite 6ft thought.

Your list is shit.

It rates earning money before being violent/abusive/drug taking.

Surely kindness is the most important thing in a partner.

I realise it is lighthearted, but it's a bit sad.

My dh shaves his head and isn't 6' so just misses the mark I guess ......

My DH fits all those criteria, apart from the height, although he is above average height.

But he's far from perfect.

This man is downstairs looking after our 3 children while I lie in bed.

However I'm not sure he would consider himself a rarity, and it seems sad that you don't mention caring, consideration etc etc.

I know no-one who fits this criteria and is single.

DH is 5'11.5", but is married haha.

I have a male friend who fits all these requirements except he's on the shorter side. He can't get a date and it's such a shame as he's lovely.

They certainly exist. The question is what are you bringing to the table OP? His list is going to be longer than yours.
