Seems the old WO stepped down after alleged bullying and accusation of transphobia. The new WO is a 19 yr old Transwoman - i think who made many of The allegations against the previous WO.

What experience has a 19 yr old TW got to hold this post - weirder than weird.

It's an absolute bloody joke. Anne Rusylo was forced out for speaking out about women's rights and they've replaced her with someone with very little life experience and even less life experience as a female. As the women's officer?!

I really hope stuff like this makes people wake up and realise the ramifications of the so-called "progressive" changes to the GRA. They are regressive, reek of male privelege and erase women and especially lesbians. Apparently literally in this case.

Well as a labour party member I will be contacting them to complain about this however I doubt very much it'll change anything as everyone seems intent on conforming to the Trans agenda... Starting to feel at a loss politically now as they all seem to back the movement

I was trying to explain this to my 75 yr old Mum yesterday, and being quite frail, she asked me about services and spaces for women in hospital - I think I, ve terrified her!

The attacks on Jess Philips and the woman who spoke on The Moral Maze. The hatred is awful. No one is saying hold on we need to look again at the GRA bill.
Mumsnet has been a great source of information for me and I thank you all who have explained some quite complex things simply.

I'll repeat what's already been said. Although Lily Madigan was involved in a bullying campaign to drive out a Women's Officer, Anne Ruzylo, Madigan has taken up a different Women's Officer post, not Ruzylo's.

But even with the correct facts, it's still a crying shame.

Badger the buggers. Send more letters, emails, deluge them till you force them to hear your voice. Push for an appointment to speak face to face; I don't think people grasp the gravity of the situation until you talk it through with them.
If I've learnt anything off transactivists it's that shouting and screaming seems to get you heard.
Get involved with local women's groups, committees in your profession, whatever you can use as a platform to disseminate some sense, do it. And know there's a lot of women backing you up and doing the same.
