Currently crying with laughter at a Miranda rerun.

We watch Frasier. Makes me laugh.

Mock the week was the last show that made me laugh out loud. That was yesterday.

Interesting that so far reruns of old shows have made people laugh.

I said the very same thing the other day, they don't seem to show funny stuff anymore. Panel shows yes, but funny sitcoms no.

Or, watch The Peep Show! loved that show, some of it was sad, cringey, gloriously weird, but when it made me laugh, I was gasping nearly.

There are great comedy shows. Brooklyn 99, Parks and Recreation are two belters

QI. Reruns, but new episodes would do likewise.

I don't watch much comedy though. Don't watch much TV or movies at all. DM dragged me to one too many awful romcoms and I find that bad 'comedy' tends to fall totally flat in a way bad action or drama or thriller usually doesn't.

I love the IT Crowd and the (much underrated) Pete v Life.
I actually do properly laugh at these.

Also, Peep Show esp when they ate the dog on the canal boat, 'Gunny', and the wedding episode. Even thinking of them now makes me smirk.

I used to love Bottom.

Proper belly laughs though? Haven't had a full on chortle fit for a while. Probably on old reruns of Only Fools and Horses.

You are right op. All the new shows at the moment are all miserable and dark.
I dunno. Maybe the world IS going to help in a handcart.
But we're not there yet, eh?
