There is a real problem with Male Violence being swept under the carpet and not addressed fully on news sites and papers.

If we don't say what it actually plainly is then we can't address the real problem.

Good article. Perfectly clear to me what you're on about. I don't know what the solution is but acknowledging it is a start.

I agree totally. The real kicker is that while male violence that is the problem it is women who are expected to change their behaviour. Women are told not to walk alone late at night, to be careful about taxis, to watch their drink etc etc. It's seems that it's fine to tell women to restrict their behaviour and be afraid but it's never fine to expect men to do anything, hence the idiotic 'extermination of males' post above.

What an utterly pointless statement. It may be true that if women were stronger they would engage in more violent behaviour, yes. But the fact is they're not and they don't. Men engage in violent behaviour at a pretty enormous rate. And everyone just ignores it - each case of a woman being murdered by her partner is reported as it if it's an isolated incident rather than being seen for what it is - part of a massive pattern of destructive behaviour.
