Police came, there were some heated words Dh and I were definitely not upstairs watching it all they gave CFN and his wife a talking to in How Not To Be a Twat, CFN's car moved immediately and they left. The EA has amended the details this morning.

All of the terraced houses whilst they don't have allocated parking do have a garage in a two blocks at 90 degree angles to each other at the end of our road. The parking in front of their houses is all visitor spaces but it's used by the people who live there.

Glad they're moving and don't believe they've been twats again.

I said after the last big update that I wouldn't be surprised if they sold up, as I also suggested back then, get a friend to go view it and ask what the neighbours are like. I'd love to see what they say.

They do have to mention the disputes but if worded carefully such a declaration doesn't have to cause any disruption to the sale.

The CFN should write on the form "significant dispute with neighbours due to myself parking regularly or arranging for my employees and customers to park regularly on my neighbours' property or blocking access to neighbours' property without permission. Purchasers need not fear any ongoing issue as long as they are happy to park legally and considerately as the neighbours are fundamentally reasonable people."

That will fulfill the legal requirement for a declaration without impacting the value or saleability of the house.

Or he could write

Dispute with neighbours, because rather than letting our customers park on their drives, they chained them off and reported us to the council.

I think prospective buyers would still be happy with the neighbours

Woah! I missed this whole thread till today! wow the CFN reaches even more Cheeky Fuckery! Hope they sell swiftly and that reasonable, normal ppl move in :)

We had to tell a neighbour that Cheeky Fucker Landlord of another property was selling his place and a part of the neighbour's. Neighbour got both estate agents to change the details. I reckon people try this on more than you might think.

Has the estate agents changed the listing about parking? Someone needs to tell them before you have a new neighbour parking ridiculously

I've just followed this story through from the beginning. Are there any update threads? Is CFN definitely moving?
