Watching Bridgit Jones' Baby. I can't concentrate on the story line, she just looks like a different person. I thought she looked nice before this surgery.

I thought she still looked pretty but in a very 'done' way and sadly nothing how she looked before. The bit where she was talking to her dad after the scan just looked wrong. He looked normal and aged and she looked like a Hollywood actress!

Gosh I agree op. I could not stop looking at her face when I saw the film at the cinema- she just looks so "odd".

Agree. The surgery isn't badly done but she looks very bland. Just not like herself any more. Very sad.

I don't really understand that level of surgery, especially on a face in the public eye?
It's one thing keeping laughter lines or neck creases at bay, so you look exactly like yourself but younger, but everyone can see she's rebuilt herself like the bionic woman, how bizarre!

Most female celebs look bland as fuck now. It's a shame that women are made to feel that we have to be clones.

I feel sad, as she had a lovely, unique face before. I saw her doing an interview not so long ago and it looks like her eyes really hurt as she was really squinting.

Angela it's not being horrible to discuss how celebrities look, whether they've had work done or not, it's only natural. Looks count for everything in Hollywood, it's a fickle industry. They want to be adored for their looks, they can't have it all ways.

I'm genuinely curious - recent photos of her pop up from time to time in the media. Whilst I think that she looks very 'polished' and clearly cares for her appearance, I haven't noticed that she's had anything done to her looks in terms of surgery.

If I had J K Rowlings' money I'd do a complete body re-build and have a new head grafted on before having my brain dropped into the new, more beautiful cavity with a pair of warm serving spoons. (Although not if I actually were J K Rowling, as she has always been a clever, eloquent and beautiful woman.)
