DH leaves for work at 7.30, I leave for the school run at 8.30. I was the last one in the bathroom for the last 3 mornings. Just got home from work and for the 3rd day in a row there is wee in my toilet! It definately wasn't there when I left, DH works miles away so it wasn't him but someone (or something) has been weeing in my toilet! So what is it? A ghost incapable of flushing? The cat has somehow come way beyond litter training? I mean what the hell is happening?!

OutnumberedbyFurchesters · 15/06/2017 14:24

Wow... I saw this yesterday and was not expecting that! Shock

wornoutboots · 15/06/2017 14:25

I'd be calling police, then blocking off any neighbour house access to the loft after they'd been!

Babyblues14 · 15/06/2017 14:27

I'm surprised they haven't been in your fridge too, touching your veg. Its so creepy!!

Elipsical · 15/06/2017 14:30

GeorgiePeachie · 15/06/2017 14:42

WHHHATTT Comeback OP. I really hope you get this all sorted that is so frightening.

lanouvelleheloise · 15/06/2017 14:42

Wow, I could be misremembering this, but I am sure I remember reading about people living in lofts of terraces (big spaces that were all interconnected) during the holocaust.

Chances are they are harmless, but homeless. Obviously, not excusing them wandering into your house and definitely not suggesting you do nothing about this. I think anyone would be a bit creeped out! But rationally, I'm just saying that they had ample opportunities to burgle you or do malicious damage or even harm, and they didn't take them.

ThanksForAllTheFish · 15/06/2017 14:45

I have been watching this thread but not commented as like others I suspected it was the cat.

I agree with everyone else, you need to call the police. I would also be doing precautionary things like binning and replacing the toothbrushes as I wouldn't trust an attic dwelling stranger using my loo to not have touched them - shudder. I would bet he's been eating your food as well, a biscuit, packet of crisps or a sandwich here and there would probably go unnoticed by most people.

artycakemaker · 15/06/2017 14:46

I'd be too scared to go back in my house again until the police had been in. At least the LL is on side.

OnTheRise · 15/06/2017 14:47

Call the police right now, before you do anything else. That's really creepy. I hope you're ok.

icantfindagoodname · 15/06/2017 14:52

The police have been, they will struggle to get any fingerprints from next door because of the builders but have taken a sample? from the attic door. I'm quite shaken, I wouldn't have had anyone check if I hadn't posted on here. Locks to next door will be changed today, and we will have some fitted to both loft doors. LL is a man on a mission, he is alternating between leaving a trap of stinging nettles around the attic door and using a camera, and setting up camp in the field accross the street.

PyongyangKipperbang · 15/06/2017 14:53

Good point that they have had plenty of chances to burgle/harm you and havent so it seems that their intentions are not malicious. Still creepy as hell though.

But I cant wrap my head around why they didnt flush it! Obviously glad they didnt as you wouldnt have known otherwise, but if I was doing that and not wanting to be caught then I would make sure I flush!

FuzzyCustard · 15/06/2017 14:58

Holy Moly! I am glad your LL is taking this seriously though and hope you're ok and it can all be sorted out VERY quickly. As a PP said, check your passports and valuables. And also the level of coffee in the jar...
