To show you this dent in my head that's appeared overnight (pic included)?

So I woke up this morning and came downstairs and my DH was like 'oh my god what happened to your head?'
I went to the mirror and I have dent in my head ?!?
It wasn't there last night and I have no recollection of banging it. It's a tiny bit tender to touch but nothing major and there's no bruising or cuts. Has this ever happened to anyone before? What could it be?
Dr google says it's aliens so that's helpful.

OMG I have just found your post after googling the same dent in my head! Did you go to the docs? I have no pain but a definite dent on one side of my hairline. Totes bizarre!!!

Sometimes of you've slept on sonething you'll get a palpable debt in your skin for a while-maybe wait to see if it goes away?

More likely you laid on something like a watch on your wrist

I know this is an old thread but I have something really similar on my forehead. Appeared overnight as well.

Did you ever figure out what it was?
I used to get dents/depressions in random places on my skull overnight, and they were real. It would freak me out when I'd look at myself in the mirror but then a few hours into the day, the dent would disappear.
I'm still curious as to what caused it even though I don't get them anymore.

I woke up this morning with a dent on my forehead. Like someone prodded me with a finger and it left an indentation.

Well, I went to see the doctor, she said it's a cyst. A cyst? They usually stick out, don't they? Anyway, I've been referred for an MRI scan so hopefully I'll get an accurate diagnosis.

Maxwellthecat - would you mind sharing what the doctor said about your dent? Did it go away? Any information you could share would be appreciated. I would like to make an appointment to see the doctor but with COVID-19 it may be a while before that happens.
