So I woke up this morning and came downstairs and my DH was like 'oh my god what happened to your head?'
I went to the mirror and I have dent in my head ?!?
It wasn't there last night and I have no recollection of banging it. It's a tiny bit tender to touch but nothing major and there's no bruising or cuts. Has this ever happened to anyone before? What could it be?
Dr google says it's aliens so that's helpful.

is it just a bruise giving the impression of a dent and not an actual dent?

It's really hard to tell without a before and after photo!

Maxwellthecat · 20/03/2017 08:56

Feels like a dent into the skull but it could be a swelling I suppose.

It's 100% a dent, you can really feel it.

Go to the doctors.

Maudlinmaud · 20/03/2017 08:58

I think you should get that looked at Max.

LoudestRoar · 20/03/2017 08:58

I'd be making a drs appt, if that was me. Do you feel ok?

smartiecake · 20/03/2017 08:58

Doctors appointment

onthettcbus · 20/03/2017 08:58

I would ring 111 and see what they say, I'm always over cautious with anything to do with the heads in case something is going on internally.

PotOfYoghurt · 20/03/2017 08:58

No idea, but surely anything that resembles unexplained, sudden dent and/or swelling of the head you go the doctor immediately?

Maxwellthecat · 20/03/2017 09:01

This is what my forehead usually looks like.

Shock
Maxwellthecat · 20/03/2017 09:04

I feel 100% fine and it's not sore.

If there is no reason for it (e.g. Injury) then I would call for a dr appointment

Isadora2007 · 20/03/2017 09:09

Weird. Dr google doesn't bring up anything too scary... Vitamin deficiency? But I'd be wanting a GP appt to be seen quite quickly for further reassurance. Your skull is kind of vital after all...
do let us know how you get on!

MoonfaceAndSilky · 20/03/2017 09:09

Confused I would go to the doctors.

Maxwellthecat · 20/03/2017 09:10

I've got a dr appointment this morning about something unrelated, I shall bring it up then.

Definitely aliens 👽

brasty · 20/03/2017 09:14

Google says this is probably dehydration. You may have a dent anyway in your skull that is harmless, but that is not normally visible, but dehydration has shown it up. I can't find anything worrying on google, but good idea to see your Dr anyway.

OwlinaTree · 20/03/2017 09:17

I found dents in my head on holiday, they were from where my sunglasses rested on my head! Do you wear any jewellery in bed like a Fitbit? You could have laid with it against your face? Any chance it could be something like that?

Maxwellthecat · 20/03/2017 09:18

Oh I do wear a Fitbit to bed! I wonder if it's that.

I discovered a dent in the front of my thigh once

Took me a while to click that is was from leaning on the dressing table as I dried my hair

AnyFucker · 20/03/2017 09:19

Of course I convinced myself I had a rare muscle tumour

Mrsfrumble · 20/03/2017 09:21

Yikes! Definitely mention that to the doctor!

You have incredible eyelashes by the way...

AnyFucker · 20/03/2017 09:21

And beautiful eyes
