Trump's team sent Obama officials packing without the usual grace period and with no one to replace them. In many cases they haven't even settled nominees for those jobs yet. The National Security Council is down to about two people, and nobody in the WH I going to pay attention to them. If an international crisis happens now, we're stuffed.

It's Congress' job to monitor the President's actions and approve budgets.
