That clip is really something. Although to be fair (but who wants to do that) it is an edited clip so who knows what he actually said to her. It could have been anything from 'I'm going to knock the shit out of you' to 'You have lipstick on your teeth'.

Melania isn't a stupid woman. She'd been working as a model since she was a girl, and she'd surely dated rich men before. She knew exactly what she was getting when she signed the pre-nup. It's not like he whisked her away from life on a potato farm in the 'old country'. If he is abusing her she has the ability, the friends, and the resources to pack her ditty-bag and walk away. The date on that photo is hilarious. I like to think it was a deliberate celebration of the protests by the picture framer.

I can't imagine it is that easy to walk out on the president of the USA. There will be a lot of people putting a lot of pressure on her to keep the happy family story alive. I don't think she could just pack bags and leave without a huge amount of fall out.

I was just reading about the pipeline deals. They are giving deals to companies he held stocks in. Of course he has supposedly sold those stocks...I would be interested to know what stocks other members of his family hold though.

It looks like he probably made a joke about the rain, but then there was the prayer and people are supposed to be serious for it.

Mostly because the man talking didn't start off as a prayer, but it changed what he was saying into one.

I hate this kind of comment. Think about just how hard it was for other public women to leave their husbands: Katie Holmes and Nigella Lawson for two. And Donald isn't famous for being fair to his ex-wives.

I can't imagine she'll ever get to the WH to be honest. I she can get away with it for the first year or so, she will stay in NY because the public will be used to that.

I hated the first dance at the Ball. He was pressing into her sexually, she was imperceptibly pulling away as much as she could without it being noticed. But far far worse was getting out the car at the steps to the inauguration and just leaving her to make her own way out the car, and up the steps. He hasn't even got manners.

If I were Melania and wanted to leave Trump my biggest worry would be whether I'd get custody of my son. Trump isn't exactly known for his reasonableness.
