Nothing worse than biting into a burger to find a hidden gherkin!

Why do they use them? Do they hate us?!

They are the best bit! You can specify no gherkins - DS1 works in McDs and often gets weirdy customers requesting no gherkins.

Best bit for me, I have seen that Pizza Hut are now doing frickles (fried pickle) I really wanted to try them but am dieting :(

Which burgers still have gherkins in? Whenever I go I just get tomato ketchup or mayonnaise. The gherkin is the best bit!

My dh hates them, he silently opens his burger towards me and I take them and eat them. We don't even need words any more.

Gherkins are amazing! I eat round the gherkins so my last bite of burger has all the gherkin in one!

Weirdly gherkins dipped in Doritos nacho cheese sauce stuff is really really good, can't remember how I even thought to try that one but they go brilliantly, all tangy and crunchy!

Although When I was pregnant with DD I had a real craving for them and use to place an order for a quarter pounder and ask for extra gherkins

When DD was a kid she always asked for a Happy Meal with extra gherkins. Fucking weird child.
She eats them out of a jar in the fridge now. Bleurgh.

We rarely have McDonalds.. but when we do we have triple gherkins in ours!!! love love love them.
