Nothing worse than biting into a burger to find a hidden gherkin!

Why do they use them? Do they hate us?!

I don't like Burger King either Blush I can't remember the last time I was in one. I like KFC though! It's just beef burgers I don't like.

Bloody love gherkins. Ive eaten two jars of the lidl sliced ones in one go once. Did feel awful afterwards

I love the fact that it used to be the case that on the McD website FAQ section, the question "Can I have extra gherkins?" was followed by "What is a gherkin?" as if many people asked those questions in that order to perplexed staff!

I'm with you with the gherkin thing! They're fucking rank and there's no need for them. Have to fish them out my quarter pounder with cheese every time. Yuk.

I've never tried a subway. Just don't fancy it.

Cant stand gherkins, evil little bastards. Tried Subway for the first time a month ago - can't believe I've been missing out on Tuna with Cheese toasted all this time!

When DS1 was little and we were all eating a maccies, he pulled the gherkin from his burger and said "what's this?"
"That's gherkin" I said.
He chucks it down with a screwed up face and says "I don't like goik!"

So they're always called goik in our house now.

I love goik.

Of course you can ask for extra stuff! You might be charged for it but it's usually 20p. (And often depends on the manager!)
