Mine is that I badly bite my nails, but are too ashamed and embarrassed to show then to anyone such as a hypnotherapist to ask for help.

Anyone else?

OP posts:
Gazelda · 03/09/2016 13:22

My obesity and lack of sufficient willpower to do anything about it.

Mybeardeddragonjustdied2016 · 03/09/2016 13:23

Embarrassment in a nice way when people know i have 11 kids and talk about it really loudly!

TheWitTank · 03/09/2016 13:23

That I'm a try hard. I'm always overly nice to people and get treated like a doormat. Some people say it's lovely that I'm kind to everyone, but I wish I was a bit ballsier. I embarrass myself with my inability to state my opinion.

Uiscebeatha85 · 03/09/2016 13:24

Used to be smoking but gave up when I found out I was pregnant last year.

Gazelda · 03/09/2016 13:24

But OP, please don't be ashamed or embarrassed at your nails. Go to a recommended hypnotherapist, they will be pleased to see you and want to help. Be proud to tackle and overcome your habit.

flanjabelle · 03/09/2016 13:25

I suck my thumb. I'm 26. I have just never been able to stop.

andthenthereweremonkeys · 03/09/2016 13:26

I suck my thumb too. I'm 29.

lightcola · 03/09/2016 13:26

My feet. No matter how much I file and smother in foot cream they are always dry and horrid to look at

Mummyshortlegz · 03/09/2016 13:26

My horrible personality and crippling shyness.

FindoGask · 03/09/2016 13:28

Since I was pregnant with my youngest, I've had intermittently horrible eczema on the palms of my hands. It's tiny itchy blisters which then scab up and flake off. I try to keep it under control with steroid cream and moisturiser but as well as being painful it looks awful and I hate inadvertently showing it to people.

Also I've got quite a dorky voice.

Bananalanacake · 03/09/2016 13:30

I can't be bothered to shave my legs, I have pale skin and dark hair and don't own shorts to wear in summer.

dudsville · 03/09/2016 13:31

I have a sebaceous cyst in an obvious place. I won't pay to have it removed or try home remedy solutions. I see it everyday. Awful thing came on this year.

mrssmith79 · 03/09/2016 13:33

I'm a big, fat bifter and I smoke too much. I have the self restraint of an untrained labrador.

Drogon · 03/09/2016 13:36

My weight, I'm gradually losing weight but think I will always be the fat girl.

My teeth. I have a big gap and they're a bit stained. I also have a few fillings that I'm conscious people can see and are judging me for it Sad

MrTCakes · 03/09/2016 13:37

How messy my house is

SpookyPotato · 03/09/2016 13:38

I'm quite fat after a post-grief-year of binge, and I feel like I've been swallowed by an obese person! I find it embarrassing that people are thinking and judging, especially people I know who are probably shocked at how quickly it's happened. I know not many people would ever say anything but don't like the fact they're thinking it.

Nothing else bothers me and at least this is fixable!

AppleJac · 03/09/2016 13:43

My weight (im 15st and size 18)

My teeth, although they are very straight i feel they look too big for my mouth. If someone is going to insult me its my teeth they will mention!

charmund · 03/09/2016 13:45

I hate my cankles - my legs don't taper they just carry on straight into my feet.
But I do wonder whether a group of men (assuming we are all female!) would be as critical of themselves as we are? Hmm

Marylou2 · 03/09/2016 13:47

I have size 8 feet and hands like a rugby prop forward. I always notice other people's tiny hands and feet. I have an enormous head too, hats rarely fit me. Not much in the grand scheme of things as I'm pretty happy with my lot overall.

goddessoftheharvest · 03/09/2016 13:48

Not so much my weight, as my shape. I'm built like a rugby player, and I'm surrounded at work and home by these dainty little women. Some of them may actually be heavier than me, but it looks all curvy on them, whereas I look like a big fucking rectangle at 8 stone or at 11.

Also biting my nails and talking crap when I'm nervous

When I get nervous I talk too much, and most of it is nonsense.

isittimeforcoffee · 03/09/2016 13:50

My weight. My wonky teeth. My nose. My voice. The fact that I get so worked up over silly things. It's probably easier to list the things that don't embarrass me about myself.

GrumpyInsomniac · 03/09/2016 13:52

My weight, and my BPD-related inability to let people into my home without suffering a full-on panic attack.

Tanfastic · 03/09/2016 13:52

I've got a bone that sticks out at the back of my neck/top of spine that makes me look hunchbacked. Tis the reason I have long hair to hide it. It's a family thing, my mum and sister also have it but I really really hate it!
