starry0ne · 09/02/2016 17:44

I loved the title... but yes you are right

BusyCee · 09/02/2016 17:46

Topsy and fucking Tim give me the RAAAAAAAGE

elliejjtiny · 09/02/2016 17:47

YANBU. It makes me want to shout at the tv. Also those children/puppets on get well soon whose parents just send them to the gp on their own. It gives me the rage. DS1 thinks it's hilarious that I get cross about it!

Koopz · 09/02/2016 17:49

We just said that! The mum is the most irritating of all.

Buttercup27 · 09/02/2016 17:49

Also does anyone with rl twins actually call them twins e.g. yesterday she said "twins it's bed time" do people actually talk to their children like that? Sounded so weird.

ManneryTowers · 09/02/2016 17:49

YANBU. And who has one cheese sandwich for tea?

Pico2 · 09/02/2016 17:51

I don't think they could get children the right age who could act sufficiently.

Abbinob · 09/02/2016 17:51

I never really paid muxh attention whilst ds watched it but when I saw the first day at school episode I was so confused, surely theyre not quite old enough for middle/secondary school, I thought. Oh. They're supposed to be started primary school. Wtaf
My and dp like to take the piss out of the weird never annoyed always creepily over enthusiastic, every days a learning day parents whenever it's on now Blush

My nephew was a bit into this on a while back and it was awful, they look about 7 and all they ever went on about was moving house. Did they ever move?

AndYourBirdCanSing · 09/02/2016 17:52

oh Buttercup I do with my twins Blush who incidentally adore Topsy and Tim. The mother just generally makes me feel like a failure Grin

ManneryTowers · 09/02/2016 17:52

Yes they moved. The new house still looks a tip though!

AndYourBirdCanSing · 09/02/2016 17:54

But I also have boy/girl twins. If I had same sex I would probably just say 'come on boys/girls!'

Hihohoho1 · 09/02/2016 17:55

Omg op my teen dd has literally just said that. And we are both now fucking itching. Disclaimer watching with small children. Grin

To be fair anything is getter than George pig! Yesterday saw an episode where twatty faced Daddy pig called doctor dog because the brat had a cold. He had a cold apparently as he didn't wear his rain hat!! I mean who is the medical advisor for the show? My dm?

Outaboutnowt · 09/02/2016 17:58

YANBU. 'Twintabulous' Topsy and 'Twintastic' Tim
Everything about the programme is awful and the age difference is so noticeable, they look about 9.

BillThePony · 09/02/2016 18:00

And didn't the mum shag Max Branning in Eastenders?

Or am I going mad.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 09/02/2016 18:00

They are also biologically impossible. You can't have boy/girl identical twins. Unless one us transgender

This has always irrationally irritated me Angry

megletthesecond · 09/02/2016 18:02

The Mum is on happy pills, or drunk. No one is that chilled out.

mannary their house is tidy! which says a lot about mine

Hihohoho1 · 09/02/2016 18:03

And on cbeenies what's the relationship between flop and Bing? Seriously is he the worlds smallest nanny or a cleaner or slave or cm?

slebmum1 · 09/02/2016 18:04

Id quite like to punch smug mum too.

ManneryTowers · 09/02/2016 18:06

Apologies meglet but I have to differ. Stickers on the furniture .... Shudder Grin

BloodyDogHairs · 09/02/2016 18:07

Is this a new series....has she had her baby yet? I'm only asking for my 3yr old obviously.

Blowninonabreeze · 09/02/2016 18:07

The Actress who plays Topsy wrote into Aquila a few months ago and said she was 9.

Agree 4 year olds couldn't act like that

Hihohoho1 · 09/02/2016 18:07

I think it was friends mum who was upduffed?

toomuchtooold · 09/02/2016 18:09

buttercup does anyone with rl twins actually call them twins e.g. yesterday she said "twins it's bed time" do people actually talk to their children like that?
I refer to mine collectively as "ladies". Not often though, as about 90% of my interaction with them is stopping one from bopping the other on the head.

CaveMum · 09/02/2016 18:11

Topsy and Tim's mum was pregnant at the end of the most recent series. I'm guessing the actress was pregnant so they had to write it in as they jumped forward about 3 months between two episodes!

They are impossibly perfect though, and the dad is either Lee Mack's brother or a Lee Mack impersonator between jobs Grin
