Am i the only one who remembers that they were on TV before, they had a cartoon that aired after Rainbow on ITV.

Topsy & Tim in any format couldn't be as bad as Rosie & Jim - Rosemary and Fred West in doll form

My other half seriously fancies Joy "Next catalogue" mummy.

My daughter and nephews LOVE it. It's the only programme they are guaranteed to sit still through and stay glued to the screen.

Most annoying thing - Their mother is always calm, collected and encouraging. She always says the perfect thing to her kids. NOT realistic. Every Mom goes mental sometimes.

Woodenmouse you're right, the actors aren't related. They tried to get actual twins (it's filmed locally and I remember them advertising round here at the time) but didn't manage it.

I rater liked how big and nice the new house Is! I have house envy. That and the one from grandpa in my pocket.

My 3 year old loves this. I don't understand how everyone the twins meet is so, child friendly, nice and accommodating to them. The Diy guy, The estate agent, house viewers, doctors at the hospital all have time to indulge the two kids and show no sign of annoyance.

DDs (2 and 4) love it! I think it's simple and looks like real life - well, a lot nicer and less shouty than our life! The house and everyone in it looks perfect! Especially jealous of well put together Mummy who goes jogging and never gets annoyed.

I had notice the twins look older than 4/5 but that's unavoidable I think because of the acting. They look similar considering they aren't related - I think they've done well!

This is the Topsy and Tim I remember. I can see where Topsy gets her stupid twirly bunches now

Those bunches are so annoying, she even has her hair up like that for bed! Ridiculous.

I feckin hate topsy and tim. Everything about the programme gives me the utter rage.

I quote a text message I sent to a fellow T&T hater friend whilst watching today's episode....

"I fucking hate Topsy and Tim"

That was it. No other explanation needed.

Another particularly annoying episode is the optician episode. The jarring way the Nan tries to teach Tim to say optometrist makes me very angry.

I'm usually a fairly calm person but this seems to flick a switch!

Joy never bats an eyelid when her MIL turns up uninvited with that great dirty brute of a dog, knocks over the Twins' marble run and demands her 'huggle'.

There are so many reasons I hate topsy and Tim! Her hair, the singing, how well behaved they are, how OLD they are. It's just so annoying, and sexist too I agree. Bleugh!!!

I had fond memories of the original T&T. Clicked on this thread, so decided to watch an episode on YouTube. Can only say that I found the whole thing VERY disturbing! Lee Mack lookalike & sound alike dad, no-one is that ridiculously placid as a mum (we know your deranged really, I've seen you on Eastenders) & toddlers who look like they should be starting secondary school not pre-school. Wonder why they're not making any more?
