I have PCOS & adult acne. The spots I have now thought, aren't as much fun as the ones I used to get. They are more sore & cystic. They don't explode like when I was a teenager!

My best ever spot was when I was about 14. It was on the top of my lip. It was sore & throbbing for days. Felt like I was walking about with a marble on my face. I exercised great restraint as there was no head appearing so I left it alone to ripen but one day I gave it a little experimental squeeze. And a bit of white appeared! That meant it was time! I took a deep breath and squeezed firmly. It exploded! A huge, solid chunk of pus hit the mirror. And then again, doof, another bit of pus hit the mirror. Then, third squeeze, a final bit of white came out. Then a tiny bit of blood. The lump had totally gone. I had to lie down for an hour! Then, it was like it had never been there, face felt normal. The relief was immense.

My 2nd best one was when I was in my 20s. It was a hard lump inside my ear. Required a yoga position to squeeze it. The "pop" was SO loud against my eardrum! Hard bit of pus came out on my finger.

I do enjoy solid pus more than nasty watery stuff.

Sylvanian, are you me? I came here to share pretty much exactly the same disgusting story. Giant blackhead in ear, made a sound when popped, was absolutely massive when extracted.

Does anyone else occasionally keep the hard pus for a minute or two to gawp at in disgusted wonder? Once I put an excised blackhead under a microscope to study. I know, I've got issues...

My whole world changed when I found hundreds of videos on youtube of spot squeezing. The best one was an old guy outside standing on a shower curtain and a woman with rubber gloves squeezing the motherfucker on his back and a crowd of folk filming it. Seriously, that cyst was like half his back!.

I had a huge blackhead in the crease of my nostril when I was a teen. One day I must have fiddling with it and it just popped out. It was awesome. I still think of it to this day.

Not technically a spot, but when I was 17, my navel piercing became infected, to the size of a golf ball under the skin.

Had to wait 3 days for a Dr's appointment, and gave in and caved to a good squeeze.

It popped with an audible 'snap' and a RIVER of pus ran down my stomach, out of one of the piercing holes. It was the most satisfying event of my adult life.

Told this before. My dad had a boil on the back of his neck. Picture it. Australia, hottest summer for, oh about 5 years. Mum couldn't touch it, but it had been festering nicely under a dressing with black ointment on it. Use a hair grip to remove ear black heads. The circular end. Running away now pretending I'm normal and this thread doesn't fascinate me.

I'll try a hair grip. I keep meaning to look for one of those blackhead tools in Boots or the Body shop but I rarely go into town!

I found one in my chest a while ago. It was unexpected and thrilling! I'd had a lump sitting there and just happened to stand in front of the mirror when I noticed there was a darkish head. It came out easily with my fingers. A solid, long, waxy looking blackhead - about half a cm long. I popped it on a tissue and inspected it whilst having a wee. It was like binning a favourite pair of shoes when I flushed it away. I think of it often, with love.
