And not in the fridge? Dp thinks it should be kept in the fridge but I disagree- I have told him the verdict relies upon the great women of mums net!

Fridge is wrong. Dulls the flavour and makes the texture wrong. So no, you are definitely not being unreasonable.

Sn00p4d · 24/04/2015 20:25

100% fridge!!

WhenTheDragonsCame · 24/04/2015 20:27

I always keep it in the cupboard

hidingfromthem · 24/04/2015 20:28

in the cupboard.
i find it sweats in the fridge.
choc is too cold from the fridge and you can't get the true taste from it.

PHANTOMnamechanger · 24/04/2015 20:28

mummys secret cupboard, saves you breaking your teeth!

TwigletLola · 24/04/2015 20:29

Cupboard, it goes white in the fridge.

Chocolatefudgebrownieicecream · 24/04/2015 20:29

Fridge! I love the feel of the extra 'bite' on the first bite of every mouthful! Especially terry choc Orange!

TheTravellingLemon · 24/04/2015 20:29

Fridge chocolate is a crime punishable by death some countries

Cupboard chocolate is the only way to go.

cashewnutty · 24/04/2015 20:30

It should be kept in the chocolate drawer obviously.

OttiliaVonBCup · 24/04/2015 20:30

Never in the fridge, that's a crime.

It goes all hard and white.

CalleighDoodle · 24/04/2015 20:31

Cupboard.

SanityClause · 24/04/2015 20:31

You can't even taste the chocolate if it's too cold. All the calories, none of the taste! Why would you put it in the fridge?

Jengnr · 24/04/2015 20:31

Fridge. YABVVU.

Fluffyears · 24/04/2015 20:31

Soft warm chocolate is vile. Keep in in fridge then let it melt on tongue x

FeelingSmurfy · 24/04/2015 20:32

Cupboard, with the exception of a bounty which is lovely out of the fridge

Love51 · 24/04/2015 20:34

Why is everyone storing chocolate? Buy chocolate, take chocolate home, eat chocolate. No storing necessary.

StickledPink · 24/04/2015 20:34

Fridge all the way.

How can anyone enjoy a cadburys mini egg that hasn't been in the fridge.

ilovemargaretatwood8931 · 24/04/2015 20:35

Fridge cold chocolate is useful when chopping it up for cooking, but to gobble eat on its own, I much prefer room temperature.

However, it upsets me greatly when I buy a bar of chocolate that has previously melted and then re-hardened- it goes horrible and pale/ strange brown, not nice.

Now, pass me the Galaxy! Grin

StickledPink · 24/04/2015 20:35

Love 51....secret stash, that's why :)

Bluetrews25 · 24/04/2015 20:37

If you keep it in the fridge, you might even burn up a calorie or two heating it up in your mouth...... so less calorific?

BitterChocolate · 24/04/2015 20:38

Fridge, usually at the back of the vegetable drawer, because no child ever opens the veg drawer. If it goes white when chilled then it's inferior quality.

TheTravellingLemon · 24/04/2015 20:40

Essentially I'm with love51 on this, but in the rare occasions that there is a glut of chocolate, it must be stored in the cupboard
