And not in the fridge? Dp thinks it should be kept in the fridge but I disagree- I have told him the verdict relies upon the great women of mums net!

'store' and chocolate' do not belong in the same sentence
It's like those re-sealable bags...as if

newlark · 28/04/2015 18:30

TheBookOfRuth is completely correct:

Definitely fridge for cheap/milk chocolate particularly Dairy Milk Caramel nibbles which have a lovely gentle snap to them when refrigerated (which brings back memories of the chocolate layers in Vienetta ice cream which I loved as a child).

Definitely cupboard for good/dark chocolate (Green and Blacks Maya Gold mmmmmmmm)

Cafeconleche · 28/04/2015 18:33

In a tupperware box in the cupboard under the sink along with the dishwasher powder, washing-up gloves, bleach and bin bags. Safe from harms way (ie DH and DCs who NEVER go anywhere near it)

RaphaellaTheSpanishWaterDog · 28/04/2015 18:53

Definitely not fridge! I'm convinced that it dulls the taste...

DH will only eat milk chocolate and insists on keeping it in the fridge. Since starting ADF diet last year I only eat dark chocolate which is harder anyway, but were I to go back to milk choc it needs to be soft and creamy. Refrigeration ruins it IMHO.

Store chocolate????
It never gets a chance to be stored in our house Grin

Cherrybellyboo · 28/04/2015 20:18

Mine doesn't get stored long :)
Unless it's a heat wave, it needs to be the cupboard. It melts better!

SpecificOcean · 28/04/2015 20:51

Dc put theirs in the fridge.
DH cupboard.
My preference is soft almost about to melt and preferably Lindt or Kinder.

nickelbarapasaurus · 28/04/2015 21:33

chocolate should be kept in the fridge

that's the FRIDGE

right, case closed

CocoaBeans · 28/04/2015 21:42

Store chocolate? Sorry OP but that's right up there with ideas for what to do with leftover wine!

SpecificOcean · 28/04/2015 21:47

No not the fridge.

Soft, so you have to lick it off the wrapper.

Perfect.

FredOFrog · 28/04/2015 22:34

Who are all these people who manage to store their chocolate? Mine goes straight from the shopping bag into my gob. Sometimes it gets 'stored' for a short period down the side of the sofa when there's imminent danger of having to share it.....

Lweji · 28/04/2015 22:45

It depends.
Normally, in the cupboard. Away from any heat sources.
If it's melting hot, then the fridge.

321zerobaby · 28/04/2015 22:53

Cupboard, definitely. Or handbag.

RebeccaCloud9 · 29/04/2015 03:22

Stored in the cupboard as being in the fridge too long makes it sweat and go white. But I sometimes like to pop it in the fridge for a bit before eating it to give it a but more but. Occasionally I've even chopped a Mars bar into thin slices and put it in the freezer!

ihatelego · 29/04/2015 09:42

cupboard for me Smile

muminhants · 29/04/2015 12:04

Fridge for me, I like my chocolate really cold.

mollister · 29/04/2015 12:37

In the freezer broken into squares. I cannot be trusted with it in the fridge or a cupboard, esp if it has been opened.
If it is in the freezer it takes longer to eat.
I know. I need to get a grip Blush
