just that really. Obv I dont know him IRL so im only judging on what ive seen on TV. He just seems really rude to all his guests on the show... what does everyone else think?

I've worked with him. He's lovely and not a nob at all.

He likes his butter and Yorkshire. He may be a Knobber he's easy on the eye.

I watch SK every Saturday, I've never thought of him as rude.

I don't mind him and I love his show on afterwards.

No, he's really lovely. His show is positively infested with hipsters though! almost as badly as Jamie Oliver's.

He comes across as arrogant and fancying himself, I turn off very quickly when he appears.

I met him briefly once, he came across as arrogant to me.

It's funny some people think that- I find him very relaxed and down to earth.

I don't think he's rude. He's just a bit blokey with people. It's not as annoying as Jamie Oliver's constant matey/blokiness.

I must be getting the wrong impression here haha! He just seems to talk over everyone on the show and not really listen to them... I suppose that could be more the producers in his ear rather than rudeness.

Yanbu. Don't know where they got him from but he clearly has v. Little talent and seems IMHO to have been chosen purely as a bit of middle-aged eye candy.... Kind of like the older woman's Jamie?! Also completely does my nut in that even after all this time in the bizz he still seems unable to go more than a few words without blatantly referring to his auto cue..... Gah!!! He must be paid enough - surely it's not asking much that he bothers to learn his lines?! Either that our (& perish the thought) try and inject a little amusing spontaneity and personality into the show... (Can you tell James main is not exactly my favourite TV 'Chef'...!)

It's not just the arrogant/fancying himself thing either, I find him deeply unattractive, certainly not my type of eye candy.

How can you say he has little talent? He cooks some lovely food, talks about it knowledgeably, creates great recipes, and seems to put his guests at their ease. I sound like some kind of superfan here- I'm not- but I don't understand how anyone can find him especially objectionable.

Matt Goss - it looked like he'd either just got out of bed after 20 minutes' sleep, or he's had so much Botox only his lips move. He didn't engage at all.

I didn't watch today. I saw Matt Goss on LG and I thought he had botox and a hair transplant.

I wasnt keen on Matt Goss until he mentioned the gig he is doing for the cancer patient, found that quite lovely.

Whatever happened to Gary Rhodes? Now he was a bit irritating.
