To LOVE smokers

Honestly, I love people who smoke. They tend to be way more interesting than non smokers.

I like the way smoking smells too.

It's a thread about liking smokers, the other about not liking smokers.
Completely opposite.

People who smoke are interesting, there are always lots of people outside in the shelters at pubs.
Some of them don't smoke but find those inside miserable

Well this is the thing.. I was fairly bemused when the government got a flap on when the vaping crew hit the million mark. All sorts of dangers and talk of banning/regulating vaping etc. Makes you wonder how much of a hole in the treasury generated by smoking would have to be filtered off from elsewhere if too many people quit.

Totally agree gamerchick. Finally a product emerges that seems to genuinely help people stop smoking and the Government want to put all sorts of restrictions on it.

... And as well as pouring more tax into govt coffers, smokers are statistically more likely to die sooner, so will draw less pension. What's not to like?

I haven't smoked for three years, I am even cooler now. I can now spend all that lovely fag money on beautiful things to wear and interesting things to do.

Agreed Quiero. They seem to be intent on 'regulation' for our safety. I'm pretty sure they must be less harmful for me than sweet lovely tastes oh so fucking good cigs. (Can you tell I miss them)

I read an article years ago that was quite sure the government would push to ban, demand such stringent regulation that only huge tobacco companies could afford to keep up and manufacture, and keep the money lost through vaping.

I know a few people who smoked for decades and vaping was their only was to stop.

As an aside, keep smoking in public, that deep whiff when I walk past you all is awesome. Stop, and I'll resort to sucking the nicotine off your fingers, it could get awkward.

I look like this when I smoke. The assault to your nostrils is meaningless to me.
