To be sick of pulled pork?

Everytime I blimmin go to a restaurant or cafe these days everything is pulled effing pork. Pulled pork sandwiches, wrap, flatbread, pizza - even saw pulled pork on top of chips today and so expensive for what is essentially offal, no?

Anyone care to join me in my pulled pork grump? (and yes I know I can order something else) just think it's over rated

Yup, it's overkill. They do it because it's really cheap to produce so they get more profit.

lol we went off it after doing it ourselves in the slow cooker. The butcher gave us half a pig - we were eating it for days!

Me too - even single bit of meat is now pulled. Overkill definitely - but bloody lovely all the same, until the next food fashion comes along

I love pulled pork with BBQ sauce. My family love it too - And it is soo easy to make. I wouldn't order it at a restaurant though. Why would anyone order pulled pork at a restaurant?

Pulled pork isn't made with offal. It is meat, offal is things like liver, kidneys etc.

I use a shoulder of pork slowly cooked in my slower cooker.

It's bits you wouldn't normally buy because they take yonks to cook. They buy them in packs, already cooked so all they need to do is heat them up. They cost very little because people don't have the time to cook from scratch for hours on end. It's not offal. Offal is the bits that no one wants to cook rather than don't have the time to cook.
