There are so many threads about seemingly useless husbands/dads/boyfriends. I wonder if a dadsnet would have an equal number of threads about useless wives/mothers/girlfriends.

There is a Dadsnet.....

Floggingmolly · 01/03/2014 11:43

Wonder no more, op, it's easily accessed.

sugarandspite · 01/03/2014 11:43

Like this perhaps?

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/dadsnet

Silvercatowner · 01/03/2014 12:05

No, not like that at all. That's a dads forum on mums net.

Floggingmolly · 01/03/2014 12:08

And the difference is...?

Piechomper · 01/03/2014 12:11

"AIBU? My wife hides things. She says things are in the fridge when really they're in the fridge door. Should I LTB?"

Silvercatowner · 01/03/2014 12:13

Lol Piechomper - yes. Flogging - there's a heap of difference between a man posting on a forum that is by definition (note the name) for women, and posting on a (hypothetical) forum set up for men.

OP posts:
Piechomper · 01/03/2014 12:14

"Chat: one of the dads on the school run isn't friendly. What should I do?"
"Who gives a fuck, mate."
"Yeah you're right."

Silvercatowner · 01/03/2014 12:16

Haha yes

OP posts:
ShutTheFuckUpBarbara · 01/03/2014 12:20

Piechomper :o

AgentZigzag · 01/03/2014 12:22

Grin piechomper

MsColour · 01/03/2014 12:34

There wouldn't be one. Men talk about other stuff like football or in my dps case, toy soldiers.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 01/03/2014 12:40

I agree about MN Dadsnet not being the same.
A bloke couldn't be completely bloke like here. It's too risky! I've seen them torn to shreds for even considering it!
It might be Dadsnet but there are definitely mums watching them! Confused

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 01/03/2014 12:41

Any more genius thread suggestions piechomper? Grin

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 01/03/2014 12:43

"My DW always wears inconvenient shoes when we're running late. WWYD?"

Dwerf · 01/03/2014 12:47

"My DW always wears inconvenient shoes when we're running late. WWYD?"

Depends how hot she is in them, mate.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 01/03/2014 12:49

Hahaha. That would have been my DH asking the question although anything other than walking boots is inconvenient in his book

Theodorous · 01/03/2014 12:52

I have a nice car - dadsnet reaction "good for you mate" instead of spewing poison and eco crap.

ilovesooty · 01/03/2014 12:53

I went shopping with my wife. When she came out of the changing room and asked me what I thought I said she looked fine. So she got the hump and tried on 6 more outfits. What did I do wrong?

Dunno mate. Mine does the same.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 01/03/2014 12:56

My DW gets annoyed when I tell her to hurry up when we're going out. I only remind her once a minute and only shouted up from downstairs so she as to switch off the hair dryer to hear me. Why does she get so annoyed?

BeverleyMoss · 01/03/2014 13:00

On Dadsnet I could admit to driving an Audi without being called a knob.

caruthers · 01/03/2014 13:01

I'm on a site where the majority of posters are men with a sprinkling of women and it's much more friendly than this site in as much as there are no threads generally about in laws and spouses who are bad.

In fact the topics of conversation are remarkably different.

CuttedUpPear · 01/03/2014 13:05

"My old friends went to the pub and didn't invite me"

Dadsnet: "Go and join them"

"Ok, I will"

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 01/03/2014 13:06

Hahaha cutteduppear!!!GrinGrin

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 01/03/2014 13:12

"My DW won't try new technology at all. She's completely resisting my attempts to buy her a new phone. What shall I do?"

Dadsnet: "what phone is it?"
