to wonder what a dadsnet would look like?

There are so many threads about seemingly useless husbands/dads/boyfriends. I wonder if a dadsnet would have an equal number of threads about useless wives/mothers/girlfriends.

I'm so tired. Have a newborn and the night feeds are killing me! DW doesn't half make a noise when she gets out of bed to feed baby and she wakes me every time. WIBU to sleep in the spare room until DC is 5?

Cakeismymaster · 01/03/2014 19:32

AIBU to need at least half an hour twice a day to do a shit?

owlbegoing · 01/03/2014 19:38

"It's my best mates stag do in a month. We're going out to Thailand for a week. He sent a text saying bring loads of money for 'extra fun with the ladies.' My DW flipped her lid when she saw it and said I can't go as she'll be 37 weeks pregnant. I think she's just being hormonal, it's only our 3rd sprog. Why would she expect it to come early? WWYD?"

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 01/03/2014 22:01

"I still have PTSD over seeing DW give birth last time. She insists I be in the delivery suite this time too. Why can't she be a little more sensitive?"

80sbabe · 01/03/2014 22:32

On a similar vein to Hogwash
My wife was 24 hours into a 36 hour labour - I asked if they had a spare bed as I was a bit tired. The looks in the room could have killed - where did I go wrong ? WIBU ?

wheresthebeach · 01/03/2014 22:43

'Just finished DS's homework. Did a great job. Why is DW cross?'

so fed up with DW seeing the negative. I did the weekly shop but all I got told was that I got dishwasher tabs instead of rinse aid, fruitshoots to go in the DCs packed lunch, no milk cos we have a half full 2 ltr one - that'll last the week right? forgot 6 other items that are so obvious and every week that they weren't on the list that I wrote. I do the washing and she tuts because I didn't take it out and put it in the dryer when it was done. I get the kids dressed and its wrong cos the clothes are dirty / too small / not warm enough / bed socks that won't fit in the shoes... Can't do anything right!

PS Anyone else thinking of that Friends sketch when the girls ask Rachel about her first kiss with Ross and she describes it all in detail. The boys just ask Ross "tongues"? "yes" "Cool". That about sums up what this thread is about I think Grin

Thread instantly dies.

Q: I've decided I'm gay. Should I end my marriage?

Reply: Why bother? The BJ will feel the same.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 02/03/2014 11:40

Q-How does one multitask? DW keeps going at me about keeping an eye on the baby whilst I'm fiddling with phone settings. How can one possibly do both??
Dadsnet- YANBU. Shocking. LTB.

OnIlkleyMoorBahTwat · 02/03/2014 12:13

The chat forum here is probably a real life mostly dadsnet type place.

Ledare · 02/03/2014 12:54

Ha. There is a thread about smoking in playgrounds on the first page.

MrCabDriver · 02/03/2014 13:48

"show me your en sute" hahaha.

I never would have imagined they'd be sharing photos of their bathrooms and giving tips/ideas

bouquetofpencils · 02/03/2014 14:31

Scarletohello · 02/03/2014 15:28

NoArmaniNoPunani · 02/03/2014 17:03

On Dadsnet I could admit to driving an Audi without being called a knob.

I wouldn't be so sure. Knob Grin
