£30 Confused
The kit with a spare 30ml liquid was only £35.
By tomorrow I'll be in credit.
Have only charged the battery once. In an hour it was good to go.
Tried everything, including e-lites but nothing stuck. This seems so easy that I really am gobsmacked Smile

Allergictoironing · 04/02/2014 11:59

Well done KatieScarlett. And what a great milestone itstheyearzero - hope you celebrated Smile Cake.

Magi - around £7.00 - £7.50 a pack of 20. So a 20 a day habit is £35-38 a week roughly, or £1800-2000 a year.

Saw my GP yesterday evening, and he was very supportive of me using e-cigs to give up. He still wants me to reduce the nicotine levels as that affects my high blood pressure, but he says if it works for me he is completely in favour Grin.

In other news, Vision Spinner (in shiny chrome type rainbow) arrived this morning & is already in use - loving the VV. Also arriving in the post was the package with the makings of my own juice so about to go do alchemy in the kitchen. I have about a week's worth of ready made juice still, so can give it plenty of steeping time. Cupboard shelf cleared out ready for it all to go in, with a solid door so no light, and cheap storage system from ASDA installed for it all to go in (damn why no emoticon for excited).

magimedi · 04/02/2014 11:59

Just think how much you will have saved by next year!!!

I suspect you will need to get another battery soon - it's a pain waiting for them to charge & not a bad idea to have a spare.

I will get another and some lovely bits of gadgetry once I've completed a couple of weeks and researched a bit.
I don't even have THE RAGE Shock
(Previous bouts of smoking cessation have led to close family members considering emigration)

LedareAnsley · 04/02/2014 17:23

Well done Katie, itstheyearzero and Allergictorioning for vaping 1.8 Smile

Thanks for the link, Plenty. The GSH2's are now in the bin. They do build up condensation but these were definitely cracked. I smoke very visible chocolate liquid and would go down the tube almost from the first hit.

Cotton buds did sometimes sort it. I keep them for my old CE4's to wipe around the battery when they leak.

My iClears have arrived and I love them Grin I don't need to buy anything this week Shock so might get some spare parts for them.

KatieScarlett2833 · 04/02/2014 17:39

So much for waiting...
Just ordered cocomel and gingerbread from vape escape along with more top bits and a back up battery. Confused
And a new smelly candle while out shopping, nice to be able to smell things!

Allergictoironing · 04/02/2014 18:44

Katie - Vaping Vision do a 5-pack of 10ml bottles pick and mix (your choice) for £12.99 Here

Reasonably economical way of trying different flavours Smile

LedareAnsley · 04/02/2014 18:57

Oh... So much for not buying anything this week Grin

KatieScarlett2833 · 04/02/2014 19:00

Damn you, 5 new flavours coming my way... Grin

KatieScarlett2833 · 04/02/2014 19:02

I'm a lost cause Ledaire Grin

FlockOfTwats · 04/02/2014 19:08

Joosejuice.co.uk are good too. 10ml tasters for £1.49

my favourite supplier at the minute.

ginmakesitallok · 04/02/2014 19:10

Katie, cocomel is fabulous! I've recently started mixing my own liquid, I use the mix calculator on AAEC, and have mostly done straightforward single mixes from t juice. Am loving h2omg at the minute, which is like a liquoricey/aniseedy mix. I'll soon have done 8 months without a stinky

ginmakesitallok · 04/02/2014 19:12

I don't really like joosejuice, v cheap but a bit too chemically tasting for me. Having said that, after their pineapple shattered a cheap clearo they sent me a vape only bottom coil clearo, which has been wonderful

KatieScarlett2833 · 04/02/2014 19:13

Even with the outlay, I was smoking £11 worth of cigs a day.
So I deserve it, yes?
DH has been sniffing around my bong (as he calls it Hmm)
I give him a week before he's converted, on the cock waving forums, buying the gear and lecturing me on the properties of variable batteries Grin

LedareAnsley · 04/02/2014 19:13

Me too Blush

It will be good to try 18mg.

We should get organised r.e swapping. I have thrown out so many flavours in the last few weeks: watermelon, bubblegum, gingerbread, parma violets and chocolate lime.

I am rubbish at guessing what I like but chocolate is a constant (sometimes with cherry or blueberry) so have ordered mocha, raspberry choc, black cherry and a couple of tobacco flavours.

LedareAnsley · 04/02/2014 19:18

Katie Grin at cock-waving and variable voltage.

KatieScarlett2833 · 04/02/2014 19:33

Oh yes, he's quite predictable (despite him believing otherwise).
I never mentioned stopping smoking, just went out and got supplies and started to use it.
The last 2 evenings, he has come home and nonchalantly enquired how it's going. I just smile beatifically and point to the full pack of cigs on the table.
He's becoming curiouser. Slowly slowly catchee monkey, darling... Wink

magimedi · 04/02/2014 19:43

Grin at bong.

My DS (age 30+ before anyone has meltdown) calls it: 'Mum's crack pipe'.

OP posts:
LedareAnsley · 04/02/2014 19:53

DH used to call mine that but I made him stop. DS is only six and prone to repeating things Shock

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 04/02/2014 19:54

Hahaha Katie! DH's cock all but dropped off a while ago when he discovered he is shit at building coils. He was stropping around going 'but I'm an engineer!' Grin

LedareAnsley · 04/02/2014 20:06

Plenty Grin

MaggieMcGill · 04/02/2014 20:27

Magi that's what DP calls mine too Smile

KatieScarlett2833 · 04/02/2014 20:33

GrinGrinGrin Plenty

magimedi · 04/02/2014 22:24

Have we discovered the downside to vaping? It makes cocks drop off? Grin

DH gave up cold turkey about 5 years ago after a fairly major health problem. He use to smoke a pipe, which involved lots of kit & faffing, & is very envious of my vape kit & even offers to fill and/or clean it all for me!!

(He still has a cock - at last look!)

OP posts:
Allergictoironing · 04/02/2014 22:38

He could always take up vaping 0% nicotine with pipe style vape kit? Grin
