I think you need to unscrew the tank & with a bit of tissue paper, to protect your fingers, tighten up the wick a little.

This sometimes happens with mine & it cures the no hit problem.

Tighten the wick? What's the wick?!!!

Allergictoironing · 05/03/2014 16:22

Really silly question - there should be a little sort of button on the battery, where the light is. You ARE holding that while trying to draw on it?

Livesforbedtime · 05/03/2014 16:24

Ohhhh you have to press the button as you inhale!!!! Oops lol

Livesforbedtime · 05/03/2014 16:25

Allergic.. Turns out not such a silly question!!!

Blush how much of a twat do I feel right now!!! Grin

Livesforbedtime · 05/03/2014 16:25

Oooh I like it!!!

Allergictoironing · 05/03/2014 16:26

Not at all lives. If you've never used a manual battery you would have no reason to think of it. And you did say it came with NO instructions Smile

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 05/03/2014 16:27
Grin
Livesforbedtime · 05/03/2014 16:27

Ironically I was hitting the button like a woman crazed at one point.. Didn't occur to me to keep my finger on it!

Black cherry is rather nice! I'm looking forward to my drive to work tomorrow without the window open lol

magimedi · 05/03/2014 16:29

Lives - don't feel daft at all. It's really quite complex & difficult when you haven't been shown for real.

If you have a vaping shop near you it is really worth popping in, with your kit & having a chat to them & buying some juice or a new battery or something off them. It may cost you a little more than on line but you will get so much help & almost certainly the chance to try a few flavours.

I was in my local shop the other day & the owner was telling me of someone who came back in saying they couldn't get their kit to work. Turned out they had charged the battery, put the tank on & then taken the tank off & were trying to puff on just the battery!!

She (the owner of the shop) is lovely & has endless patience with showing people how they work.

If you're planning on using it to replace all daytime cigs, make sure it's fully charged overnight or you take your charger into work if you can use it there. That kit says it has a 650mAh battery, which would last a little under a full day of vaping on average (depending on how much you used to smoke ofc)

Allergictoironing · 05/03/2014 16:33

You may not realise just how Envy you make me Magi, with a proper local shop. I may have friends with their own brand, but that's ALL they would talk about or sell me (I think I know more about some aspects of kit than them now!). A Real Life (TM) bricks and mortar shop close by would be a dream.

magimedi · 05/03/2014 16:36

I wouldn't want to start one right now, until all the dist has settled, but I reckon it's something you should think about, Allergic. I know you've told me roughly where you live & I am amazed that no one has started one up yet.

If you ever fancy a meet up I am sure the lovely Kate (shop owner) would give us all a good time trying out flavours.

OP posts:
Allergictoironing · 05/03/2014 16:41

Magi I've had a quick look at the figures & there's no way I could get started. Plus with the new EU directive I could easily be bankrupt in no time if they push ahead with it Sad.

I'm due a small inheritance some time (if the executors ever get things sorted) which should be enough so I can allow myself the petrol costs for a drive down your way & maybe a splash out on shinys, so I'll be taking you up on that offer if/when it comes through Grin

magimedi · 05/03/2014 16:43

Well, I shall really look forward to that!

And it would be lovely to see any one else. Wouldn't a vape meet be fun?

KatieScarlett2833 · 05/03/2014 17:00

I want to come to the MN Vape Meet (kicks stones on ground with petted lip)
Wink

magimedi · 05/03/2014 17:05

I've just looked at your profile & seen it's quite a way for a day trip for you, Katie. Could you organise a Scottish meet?

Would be lovely to meet you, Plenty.

Anyone else up for it?

OP posts:
KatieScarlett2833 · 05/03/2014 17:08

I travel around all the time, nothing like a nice peaceful journey, sans la famille Smile
Was in London a month or so ago, Glasgow yesterday, York in January, Amsterdam in October..

magimedi · 05/03/2014 17:10

Well, come & join us for a sunny seaside vipers' vape day!!

Am sure we can involve food & Wine !

OP posts:
KatieScarlett2833 · 05/03/2014 17:11

I'm in Grin

magimedi · 05/03/2014 17:23

Well I can't wait to see you all! Would a w/e be better for you all? Should we wait until the clocks change - maybe sometime in April?

I'm pretty easy with dates until early late May & June. Will be away & then it is Wimbledon & I will be glued to the box & unable to move!

OP posts:
Allergictoironing · 05/03/2014 17:25

I'm completely dependant on having enough money to justify the petrol for the trip, it isn't THAT far but I have to drive an auto & it's a bit thirsty. So I'm reliant on whether the bloody executors get a wiggle on - on experience to date, I could be waiting until next year at this rate!

Allergictoironing · 05/03/2014 17:26

Bah meant to add - so ignore me please at least for this round, as I'm unlikely to be able to make anything for a while yet Sad. You'll all have to have one for me!
