allergic mine are bottom coil as well. One night all three of my clearos were gurgling and I had to vape a CE4 until morning Shock

not2nitedarling · 02/03/2014 11:48

Its been 5mnths for me. I've smoked for 25 years. Last 15 yrs on rollies with menthal filter tips. I bought an e cig in August and carried on smoking for the next month.. just used ecig in evenings. Then I just stopped.. I really didn't know what I was doing in the beginning but now I have different flavours for different moods and have bought a 0mg nicotine to mix with stronger liquids I initially bought. Have gone from 28mg to 12mg. I am so chuffed. well done everyone x

KatieScarlett2833 · 02/03/2014 11:48

Brilliant, not2 Grin

Gorja · 02/03/2014 14:09

My workmates all refer to mine as my crack pipe!! Have to hide it from the service users though!

FlockOfTwats · 02/03/2014 16:34

Mine are in a big tupperware box where DS can't reach. My 4 year old was told they are mummys medicine to keep her from smoking and that its very dangerous for children to swallow or touch.

She never touches anything once she's been told not to though.

KatieScarlett2833 · 02/03/2014 16:55

On Friday night while I was vaping on my way to the Theatre with my mum (if it had been an actual cigarette she would have freaked as laydeez don't smoke in the street doncha know), a woman stopped me and grilled me for 5 mins on my vaping kit, what it was like and where could she get one too.
Mum said "get one dear, my daughter has tried everything and it's like a miracle she's stopped. I can sleep at night peacefully now."
I saw the woman the next day at the stand in our local shopping centre.
Gotta love mum Smile

Ledare · 02/03/2014 17:05

Oh Katie, that's lovely.

I had just recovered from a GA when I was asked about vaping and may have been a bit unclear. I should have printed out allergic's post to take with me!

Ledare · 02/03/2014 17:06

Oh - and good idea about mixing, not2. congrats!

Livesforbedtime · 02/03/2014 18:03

I've finally bought one!

Got black cherry as my flavour! Fingers crossed! I only smoke around 3 cigarettes a day but find it absolutely impossible to give them up!

KatieScarlett2833 · 02/03/2014 18:06

Congratulations!

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 02/03/2014 19:05

Sensible warning magi. Also keep it away from pets.

Just got back from a big family dinner - DBiL, DNephew, DH and me all vaping Grin DSis tried a while ago but found it all a bit faffy. She wants to have another go soon though.

Good luck, Livesforbedtime Flowers

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 02/03/2014 19:07

Well done not2! Flowers

It's 5 months for me today too Grin

VelvetDuvet · 02/03/2014 22:54

Popping back to say that after having trouble with the disposable clearos, I've bought a non- disposable anyway it's one you fill from the bottom and then just change the wick. Does that make any sense?

I'm not even new to it Blush been vaping over a year just don't know the lingo!

TalisaMaegyr · 02/03/2014 23:06

Right. I've done it. I'm just about to go and smoke my last real cigarette, and then tomorrow I start vaping full time. I only bought the kit today and have had a few puffs this evening watching telly, but after tonight, that's it. I'm going to put a tenner a day in a jar, just so I can see it mounting up. Wish me luck girls, after reading all your success stories, you have inspired me Grin

TalisaMaegyr · 02/03/2014 23:08

I've already had the last one Shock

Am now having a cheeky vape in bed. God, it's aaaages since I've smoked in bed Grin

magimedi · 02/03/2014 23:08

Go for it Talisa (can I hear an echo here Grin )

I am nearly 18 months into vaping & am just loving the lack of cigs.

£10 a day is going to but you something really nice, very soon!

That's brilliant magi.... 18 months?? Brilliant!

magimedi · 03/03/2014 10:18

Great leader in The Times today in favour of e-cigs & vaping.

I know it's behind a pay wall but I can copy it & PM it to anyone who wants to read it.

LucyLasticBand · 03/03/2014 11:09

magimedi · 03/03/2014 11:13

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 03/03/2014 11:22

Done. That's a great article. I saw a video of Matt Ridley's speech in the HoL a while back - I'll see if I can find the link ...

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 03/03/2014 11:29

Found the transcript.

QueenStromba · 03/03/2014 11:53

I'd like to read it magi.

QueenStromba · 03/03/2014 12:04

Thanks for that magi.

That is a good article - sums up everything vapers have been saying about the EU regs.

QueenStromba · 03/03/2014 12:13

The author of that article is actually a member of the house of lords. Here's a link to a speech he gave in December about it.
