Grin

Two weeks today for me!

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 08/02/2014 11:21

Ah no, we can't call it Nicotine Therapy because that's a medical claim and the euro bods will be onto us.

What about FANJO - Finally A Nicotine Juice Option?

magimedi · 08/02/2014 11:21

Well done, Ledaire

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 08/02/2014 11:21

Yay! Well done Ledaire Flowers

Ledaire · 08/02/2014 11:23

Thank you Smile

magimedi · 08/02/2014 11:44

I am liking Fanjo quite a lot - but I can't see me going into my vape shop & asking for a new battery for my fanjo!

Seriously, it would be great if there was a name that did not use the word cigarette or cig in it.

I'm going to be boring & say I tend to call it my vape stick or something similar

Ledaire · 08/02/2014 19:27

I have tried and failed to re-wick GSH2's but the replacements sent haven't leaked into the inner tube like the others.

I wonder if it's because I am using a variable voltage battery with them? Chocolate is quite thick and dark.

So what are we all vaping / buying this evening? Smile

FlockOfTwats · 08/02/2014 19:56

Ledaire I think darker liquids clog up coils quicker?

I'm vaping butterscotch.

Not buying anything for two weeks until i put in a joosejuice order. I have far too many liquids lol. I stole someone's idea on here and bought a set of tupperware boxes and in running out.

OH has tried to commandeer the unit i keep the nappies and wipes in as a vape cupboard but i have said no. Two reasons - firstly i like the nappies being in there, second reason the toddler can undo the so called childproof catch on the fridge, which is the same one as is on that unit just upside down so i don't trust that it will remain childproof forever and he cant be trusted not to mess around with things.

Hoping to get my hands on an itaste 134 mini asap. Apparently it will be much cheaper than the regular 134. The guy in the shop has emailed innokin (he has a contract with them and buys direct), Obviously innokin are closed until the 11th due to Chinese new year but should have some idea of a release date.

He sells them in full kits too which is good, saves faffing around buying the right batteries and chargers separately.

Cocomel today, just switched to Watermelon. Both lovely.
I don't know if this is a coincidence but for the last few days my IBS symptoms of bloating/constipation (that I've had for years) have gone.
The only change I've made is vaping.
Sorry for the over share but Shock

FrostedButts · 08/02/2014 20:36

my rage moment has passed.

so when flavour swapping in a clearomizer, wait till its all gone then chuck new flavour in? or change tank? or steam clean it? my 2nd tank doesn't have a ml gauge and I like to know how much I'm putting in. I'm such a Poindexter.

I'm sure vanilla and caramel will blend nicely though :)

Allergictoironing · 08/02/2014 20:47

Vanilla & caramel mixed sounds lovely! I'm mostly on the apple/menthol mix today, very light and refreshing.

Frosted - to get a complete change of flavour rather than a bit mixed you need to wash the clearo out with warm water then "dry burn" it in short bursts until the wicks are dried. I've heard that doing the last rinse with vodka help the wicks dry quicker, though some think that's an awful waste of good (or any!) vodka. I just tend to leave mine on the draining board for a couple of days to air dry, but that's 'cause I'm lazy.

Cantabile · 08/02/2014 22:12

Mostly on gingerbread today, though I was vaping apple until mid-morning.

I bought some chocolate eliquid today, which I don't like. It's by Baccy - not heard of them but that's what they've got in the vape shop in town. There's something about it which is redolent of coffee.

So I have 10 ml of 10mg chocolate eliquid going begging if anyone wants it... First come, first served!

magimedi · 08/02/2014 22:28

Still the old faithful here with my 'Sherlock'.

TMI warning - it concerns shitting!

I don't know if this is a coincidence but for the last few days my IBS symptoms of bloating/constipation (that I've had for years) have gone.

Katie - every other time I gave up cigs I had horrendous problems with not going - but a vape & a Brew & everything is just as it should be! In fact, since I've vaped I am more regular than ever & if you look at the Bristol stool chart (go google) I am far more in the 'normal' range than ever before.

OP posts:
FrostedButts · 09/02/2014 01:28

So do you get the same "coffee and a fag" effect of a morning with an ecig?

Tbh I will miss it if not it was the one thing that kept me regular Blush

FlockOfTwats · 09/02/2014 03:18

My other half was having a nosey earlier while i was on this thread (My PC is hooked up to the big TV in the living room because we play games and watch movies on it).

He thought the little symbol on the Brew emoticon was a blue weed symbol.

Just had to share that lol.

Allergictoironing · 09/02/2014 08:59

More TMI warning re poo & cigs/vaping.

Nicotine can have an "interesting" affect on the digestion including the runs. I know that after the first ciggie of the day that's when I usually would need to rush to the loo & others have said that too. It can also cause bloating & that horrid "gurgling" effect - it IS a stimulant so that's why.

There was a rumour I heard years ago that prison inmates would stick a fresh cigar somewhere the sun don't shine to induce nicotine poisoning so they would go to the infirmary and the symptoms included diahorrea - the delicate membranes in that area absorb drugs much quicker than digestion or via inhalation, hence why suppositories are used.

We know from research that smoking causes the nicotine to be absorbed quicker than from vaping, but you do get that nicotine eventually. This fits in quite well with both Katie and Magi's symptoms. Katie isn't getting the sudden large hits of nicotine to the system which could push the nicotine levels to where it causes IBS type symptoms, and she may well be taking in less nicotine overall than she was when smoking. Magi was losing the stimulant effect of nicotine that her body was used to when she's given up in the past, but now vaping means she's still getting that nicotine.

KatieScarlett2833 · 09/02/2014 09:03

Wow Shock
Thanks for that, yet another reason why vaping is fab Grin

LucyLasticBand · 09/02/2014 10:25

LucyLasticBand · 09/02/2014 10:26

no,

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 09/02/2014 10:28

LucyLasticBand · 09/02/2014 10:31
