EhricLovesTeamQhuay · 03/09/2013 20:44

Don't ever google it! Why would you?!

Thepowerof3 · 03/09/2013 20:46

rachyconks · 03/09/2013 20:47

W. T. F?? Will my eyes ever recover. That's worse than blue waffle.

HumphreyCobbler · 03/09/2013 20:47

I know how you feel. It is vile. I never had a problem before I googled it, this was YEARS ago too. I have avoided all threads since.

CatAmongThePigeons · 03/09/2013 20:48

Why did you google it? Grin

I wonder how many more will Google it, having seen it on the thread title

98percentchocolate · 03/09/2013 20:48

Ugh!!

FairOfFaceButFullOfWoe · 03/09/2013 20:48

That was like a red rag to a bull! Just googled and now I'm hiding behind my hands!!!

Thepowerof3 · 03/09/2013 20:48

Your holey holey hands?

OP posts:
nobutts · 03/09/2013 20:49

I have this. It is bizarre and can make me actually vomit! although I'm getting better at emptying my head of thoughts relating to certain images. I get caught unaware on toothpaste/deodorant/skin product adverts though and have to cover my eyes until DP says the coast is clear.

Thepowerof3 · 03/09/2013 20:50

Someone on FB mentioned it was a fear of holes, something that my DM suffers from, didn't realise it'd burn my very eyes

OP posts:
Sallystyle · 03/09/2013 20:50

I have this phobia too. Not just holes but lots of patterns too.

Makes me sick.

Trypopophobia - fine.

Blue waffle? That might have ruined my sex life for good Sad

Thanks rachyconks

Thepowerof3 · 03/09/2013 20:52

I think I may have inherited her phobia as I feel terrible now but DH looked and wasn't phased at all

OP posts:
HoneyDragon · 03/09/2013 20:52

I wonder how many Mnetters ave developed a phobia of holes as a result of these threads?

LEMisdisappointed · 03/09/2013 20:53

I don't have trypophobia - but that made my fingers go all on edge, like

nobutts · 03/09/2013 20:53

Yep patterns and certain clusters ( feel gross typing that word) of things. Its worse if it's organic/biological and also the more regimented or consistent the pattern. If I can rationalise it and place it in a broader context its not so bad..I sound mad I know

Thepowerof3 · 03/09/2013 20:54

I don't think it's something you can just develop like that!

Jengnr · 03/09/2013 20:54

I really like them. Apart from the spider ones and the actual gross things.

The rest is quite relaxing though.

chillinwithmyyonis · 03/09/2013 20:54

So without me having to google, what is it?

mrstigs · 03/09/2013 20:54

I googled. Didnt bother me at all. I was expecting something really gruesome Grin .
There was a rather rank looking spider though, but thats a totally different phobia at work.
