Blaargle, I feel all hot and dizzy now why can't I leave well alone!

OP posts:
Celadorhasacatandawaveequation · 03/09/2013 22:04

I just googled it fool and now itch all over.

Found a nethuns link and it appears to have caused a bit of dischord over there because nethunners (?) got annoyed at the OP for freaking them out Grin.

ToysRLuv · 03/09/2013 22:04

Shoot: That is interesting..

AndIFeedEmGunpowder · 03/09/2013 22:05

Ooh! DSis has this! Didn't know it had a name. She is particularly edged out by the way leftover spaghetti hoops line the inside of the tin (?!) and certain types of coral. I'm not going to google now, but if she ever really pisses me off I am gonna send her a link! Ha!

beth27123 · 03/09/2013 22:06

Um...wow. Feel well and truly sick.

Bambi27 · 03/09/2013 22:07

Well thanks for that I googled it ShockShockShockShock

NoisyBrain · 03/09/2013 22:10

Ooh I finally know the name of my phobia! And that I'm not the only one who has it Grin
Thank you Mumsnet, though I will NOT be googling!

Cloola · 03/09/2013 22:12

Oh man I am now feeling very ill!!! Note to self never google.... Ever again!!!

TooOldForGlitter · 03/09/2013 22:13

My Dad has it too. He used to talk about stuff with rice. I will say stuff for now as it is actually making me itch and feel uncomfortable just mentioning it, not sure I can type it. I bloody knew it was a 'real thing'!

TooOldForGlitter · 03/09/2013 22:15

My other sister sends me photos of barnacles on the beach. Or baby snails all clustered around this particular tree she has in her garden. Oh god I feel brain itchy now. Proper close up photos that make me want to literally smash my phone to pieces. Nice my family aren't they.

EmmaBemma · 03/09/2013 22:19

I remember once I accidentally left a pan of penne to boil dry, and when I returned, all the penne were standing upright so that from above they formed a dense network of holes. I found it a really disturbing sight and now I understand why! I also have a recurring nightmare where areas of my skin look like that. Gives me the heebs.

TooOldForGlitter · 03/09/2013 22:20

OH FFS EMMABEMMA YOU BASTARD!

TooOldForGlitter · 03/09/2013 22:21

oh god I can't even have that msg on my screen. I think I am a serious case.

mumblecrumble · 03/09/2013 22:25

I will now be googling

mumblecrumble · 03/09/2013 22:29

scaryg · 03/09/2013 23:01

Don't Google Trypopophobia breast rash... I feel v.grossed out. I got this as an email ages ago and it's always given me the hebegebes.

Oswin · 03/09/2013 23:16

Oh god. I feel ill! I always got a strange feeling from that picture of the girl with the indentations on her leg. Now after seeing all that I'm freaking out. It's so weird.

softlysoftly · 03/09/2013 23:17

Scaryg that's the one that got me even thinking about it makes me get skin itchy

And whichever of you made me Google those fucking toad things bastard!

mynameismskane · 03/09/2013 23:17

TylerHopkins · 03/09/2013 23:19

Oh I love anything like this. Just like most of you like sporn stuff, this is my baby.

steppedonlego · 03/09/2013 23:19

Surinam toads ruined me for at least a week.

GaryBarlowsPants · 03/09/2013 23:23

Oooooh the dog's ear is gross. Other than that, I don't 'get' this phobia!
chillin it's a fear of holes, or clusters of holes.

ToysRLuv · 03/09/2013 23:23

You know those stress ball toys with a net and goo inside and then you squeeze them? They're pretty cool..

KatoPotato · 03/09/2013 23:23

Oh emmabemma ehateveremma! You made my body do a big convulse and I knocked over my wine water

ToysRLuv · 03/09/2013 23:24

The dog's ear is terrible - I agree.

KatoPotato · 03/09/2013 23:25

My 'D' h and DS were making playdo pikmin and thought that pressing hundreds of googly eyes into a flat slab would make me a lovely gift.

My DH also likes to make vines of such a thing
