I think sometimes it's forgotten that famous people are actually real people with genuine feelings.

Don't agree with her about mumsnet just being negative and judgemental all the time though, really excellent support available on here.

She's probably just bitter because her face was described on here as over-Botoxed and waxy-looking by me

I just clicked on the link. She says mumsnet is just lots of women criticising one another. Said it non supportive. Some readers made comments at the bottom of the page, saying mumsnet was vile and if you don't conform to the same opinion then you are the devil incarnate.

Lost any sympathy I had for her when she and Alesha Dixon behaved like mean girls over Tulisa's sex tape, she's hardly a poster girl for women being supportive. FWIW I do think people can be too judgemental towards Mums in general, and it'd be better to see a little less of it on here, but at least it's honest.

Really? I find that very difficult to believe that someone who suffered a cardiac arrest for 4 minutes and survived would be out of hospital after 3 weeks never mind back at work.

As for Amanda. I feel sorry for her as she had such a difficult time after the birth of her baby and that must have been horrendous. But she must have realised returning to 'work' after 3 weeks is hardly going to go uncommented on. I am sure much worse things have been said about her and unfortunately that's part and parcel of being famous these days with the internet and peoples opinions so easily published.

I do think it can be a vipers nest on here and I have seen some threads turn into nothing more than a campaign of bullying with little thought to the person on the receiving end. However, in the most part it's just other people giving their opinion which you may not share.

It seems a bit of a coincidence that as soon as MNers start a twitter campaign against the DM, the DM comes back with criticism of MN. I think they are just using Amanda Holden to tell their readers 'don't listen to those nasty women who use MN'

Totally agree with Amanda Holden about MN mums, some of the foul language used and hateful comments to other members on here is disgusting, really glad Amanda has highlighted how unpleasant MN can be.
