To think some posters invent their DC

Because they seem to spend all day, every day posting on Mumsnet. They are never off the forum, popping up on every second thread, demonstrating an encyclopaedic knowledge of OPs' posting history, past threads, current threads etc etc

Who on earth gets these 'DC' out to school, and feeds them and clears up after them and supervises their homework and cooks their dinner? Do some of you have full time maids and nannies who do all that stuff while you lounge around eating chocolates and aibu-ing?

Maybe others are better organised than you?

It is the internet i suspect a good 25% if the site if not more use fake personas. This is the risk of these sites and the risk of taking their views as indicative...not much can be done about it though:)

YABU. Wonderful technology these smart phones. Makes it possible to grab a minute here or there to read some aibus.

I'm not fake, but I do spend a lot of time on here lately, I have a 6 week old dd with a voracious boob and cuddles habit which leaves only my left hand free for MNing and a wonderful mil who takes ds out for the afternoon, most afternoons. Sometimes I'm here through the night too, MN is good company during night feeds.

I don't care much for chocolate.

Although I would like one of those servants yes please!

I am quite liking the idea of fake children. Pretend nappies, game can be paused whenever I fancy a kip.

I have a real life child. She is sitting not far away from now playing with her toys.

My DC's are older and I have a cleaner and I can't spend all the day playing sport/shopping/hanging out with pals so I have plenty of time for MN'ing.

I have just played three hours of sport, I am just cooling down with a coffee and a Mumsnet then I will have a bath. I am seeing a pal later and we are going to a garden centre for a coffee and wander around.

My DC's are completely not an issue . Just wait your time will come.

I'm real, have real life ds's who are at school/college all day and I work from home, if I want to spend time on here, I bloody well will, thanks all the same.
