To think some posters invent their DC

Because they seem to spend all day, every day posting on Mumsnet. They are never off the forum, popping up on every second thread, demonstrating an encyclopaedic knowledge of OPs' posting history, past threads, current threads etc etc

Who on earth gets these 'DC' out to school, and feeds them and clears up after them and supervises their homework and cooks their dinner? Do some of you have full time maids and nannies who do all that stuff while you lounge around eating chocolates and aibu-ing?

I'm very real but, much to my ongoing distain, do not have any children. I have been lurking/posting since 2004 and have gotten many jobs off of random posts on the Nanny board
However, like snoop, I found this board a great comfort when I had my MC and for that, I will be ever thankful
(sorry for the rough time you're having and hope you're holding up ok btw snoop Thanks)

My children are real however I do not exist

BriAndLottie · 13/03/2013 20:52

Judging by the sea of playmobil that is our living room floor at the moment, I think my DD is definitely real Grin shame her toys are too really or they wouldn't need tidying up!

Just caught up to the end of the thread. snoop, I love mumsnet when I need a bit of distraction. Sorry you're needing distraction from something so awful.

don't know. I have no children, but maybe I should invent some - three I think. One of each.
