We had a very good looking English teacher in (guessing) his late 20s, who flirted shamelessly with the sixth form girls. In retrospect a bit creepy but at the time I thought it was all harmless fun and his shameless exploitation of his personal charms was just his way of getting us to work hard for him and improve his average grades.

But at the end of the last term he ran off to Australia with one of my class, so it seems it wasn't just a game after all. His wife seemed really nice .

Poor wife, poor girl, poor family.

It happened at my school as well - teacher in his mid 50s, young lad of 14 who had a very unhappy home life. Teacher was imprisoned, god knows what happened to the young boy.

I have just remembered the very nice teacher that had a few girls babysitting for him two of these girls were in care, how nice of him giving these vulnerable girls that extra bit of care they needed.

He suddenly dissapeared after a visit from the police

At my old school (33 years since I left), there was a group of male teachers who were all good mates.
One of them ended up living with an 18 yo former pupil he'd been teaching since she was 11.
Another was form teacher from y7-11 to a girl who had an affair with another (married) teacher in 6th form, and later ended up marrying the form teacher subsequent to his divorce (she trained as a teacher after uni).
Yet another divorced his wife to marry a former pupil he'd taught from the age of 11. (He used to do a weird flirty thing in school, as well, and was fond of taking groups of girls on ski holidays).

Several scandals at my DCs' last school over the years - one culprit in particular is very senior and is known to have been involved with several pupils in the past.

Writing it down, it's unbelievably shocking.

One of my teachers apparently was texting a student. Rumours only. He was weird though. Used to ask me did I want to skip maths and go sit in his class....

He must know he will be going to prison. I hope it doesn't flip him into doing something even worse. Her parents must be worried SICK.

Stupid man! Has thrown down the drain his life, his family his job. She is just a young girl that will hopefully soon realise this is just a teenage fling, big mistake.
