To REALLY HATE DOGS?

Slobbering everywhere wagging their tails, coming up to me licking my hand.

They STINK, get their GRUBBY MUDDY paws ALL OVER ME and leave hair everywhere.

They run wildly around parks, savaging all the babies and elderly. BASTARDS. Eating poo and spreading diseases. A HAIRY MENACE.

there you go!

giraffesCantFitInThePalace · 22/06/2012 07:39

My friends dog likes to lick and sniff the fanjo of small girls...not boys, not ladies and not if they are wearing nappies.

bitofcheese · 22/06/2012 09:24

actually white i disagree. if you picture a human bumole' it is tucked away, i don't know about you but when i sit down my butt' hole isn't actually making contact with the surface of a seat as it is up a bit, i would have to part the cheeks BUT some dogs (not all) that have a sticking up tail, their bum hole would make direct contact with the surface, the thought makes me want to up chuck. and yes, i have come across some dogs that don't smell, jack russells often seem not to but lots do, long haired ones especially, the smell is disgusting......... and even if my dd's bum hole did touch the sofa, it ain't the same as dog shit. although at 9 my dd tends to wear clothes. come to think of it, i can't recall a time when she did hang out naked on the sofa

I dislike dogs mess, hairs, smell, their food stinks the house out etc. I couldn't own a dog as they take too much time and care. I don't trust dogs not to bite me either. I like to pat/stroke a dog and some are very beautiful/cute to look at. People whom become very very defensive about their dog, I think they have serious issues.

bitofcheese · 22/06/2012 11:45

i don't like dogs but understand why people that do do. i can observe that alot of dogs are great companions and very loyal etc etc. for me, i have always found them very irritating, demanding of attention all the time like some high end toddler, i HATE it when some dogs constantly beg for food. my sister has three retrievers. every year we have to go there for a post christmas gathering. the dogs take over, beg at the table all the time, whole place stinks. they like their dicks too making the most disgusting sound always whilst we are eating at the table etc etc. they jump up. i never stroke the buggers as i am allergic (as well as not liking them) which i know really pisses off her dh as he seems to think we should all love them. the thing i think i hate nearly as much as their smell is when their willies come out, it really makes me want to up chuck. oh yes, nearly forgot, when the dogs (all males) have sex with each other, seen that a few times, fucking disgusting

bitofcheese · 22/06/2012 11:45

SoleSource · 22/06/2012 11:57

Guide dogs, police dogs etc are fab.

likelucklove · 22/06/2012 12:01

My DM used to be like this. Absolutely HATED dogs and bad mouthed them in public making me Blush

I then left home to live with DP at 18 and she got a dog!!! We still can't believe it, but he is her baby. My DDad reckons it was a panic and midlife crisis.

LST · 22/06/2012 12:04

Solesource all dogs are fab.

My Grandad died in feb, my nan was so lonely. She's now had a Shorkie (not my first choice of pooch) and she has saved my nan from so much.

WhiteWidow · 22/06/2012 13:24

Mums net can you please tell me why my post was deleted? Aren't I allow to say someone is an idiot now?

WhiteWidow · 22/06/2012 13:27

It's okay for them to insult me and my dogs but 'idiot' is wrong.

I'm sure 'you're an idiot' has been said many times on this forum. Never been deleted before.

So long mumsnet, cannot be bothered with Pointless post deleting.

LST · 22/06/2012 13:28

whitewindow don't go!

I agree with you.

Mumnet what the fuck?

WhiteWidow · 22/06/2012 14:28

LST :o

I like this forum, but the policing and nannying is just silly.

ohchristFENTON · 22/06/2012 15:29

WhiteWidow - it was a personal attack, personal attacks - if MNHQ are aware of them - will be deleted. They will only be left to stand if no-one reports them or MNHQ don't happen upon them while looking at something else on the same thread.

what I mean is if they are 'keeping an eye' on a thread they will delete without reporting.

Ormiriathomimus · 22/06/2012 17:17

I'm afraid that calling someone names is not allowed. Saying the are an xxxxx (insert epiphet of choice) is a personal attack, saying they have stinky dogs (or kids or houses) isn't although it might be very rude! I think that threads like this tend to bring out the rabid dog-haters who will try to have a dig even if the thread is meant to be good-natured and humourous. Don't let it worry you.

WhiteWidow · 22/06/2012 17:44

For gods sake if calling someone an idiot is classed as a personal attack then I'm a guilty of 'attacking'. People need to get a grip. If they're going to insult me and what I class as family, they should expect a retaliation. MumsNet shouldn't be a Big Brother.

And to ChristianGrey, 'woah there'? Oh it's alright for you to insult me and patronise me but I can't call you an idiot? Give over.

ChristianGrey · 22/06/2012 18:19

I didn't actually report your comment, someone else must have I though it said a lot more about you than it did about me so I just left it. You are taking this way too seriously.

WhiteWidow · 22/06/2012 18:31

Oh I do apologise, I weren't aware saying I thought you were an idiot makes me a terribly unsavoury person Hmm
