I heard it on the news this morning before opening facebook. She's beautiful inside and out. I too loved her music. Maybe it was accidental death, too much alcohol mixed with painkillers or similar in error? She looked fine to me on the footage of leaving the club; talking and smiling. It won't be suicide imo, she grew up a church girl. Suicide's a no no. Still can't believe it. Only 48

I feel bad for her poor daughter, I think she's still in her teens and has already had drug problems of her own. :( I hope she gets things straightened out. So sad to lose her mother at such a young age.

Eeep...my mother's coming to visit and I did not tear around scrubbing and tidying like I always do. She's a perfectionist and I am a bit more...shall we say lazy relaxed? :o The house isn't terrible, it's just normal. The bathroom is a disaster because I am doing four or five loads or laundry and that's where the washer and dryer are.

I am so tempted to freak out and run around shoving things away, but I always find that so stressful and you know what? The house is good enough. I'm taking a stand. I will just tidy like I normally would and finish my laundry in my own time. :o

cheerful I love your laid back attitude, wish I was the same, I was up bright and early this morning, as our central hearing was being flushed, I was running around like a mad woman, dh had to remind me that I had cleaned the toilet twice I don't why I did it in the first place I only done it yesterday, there was nothing wrong with it, yes I am insane. I am just working on my issues with my mom and close friends. They are here to see me and not my house, is what I keep telling myself. :) I love my mom but she can be a bit cutting, and I am working on standing up for myself. I'm almost 30 but she still makes me feel like a stupid twelve year old sometimes!

I have boys in my front room - the whole room smells of farts the dirty little sods I have escaped to the other room and shut the door!

I have just given them sweetie money and told them to go up the shop so I can air the room!

Valium - Only ds on mid-term here (and he is sick today) dd has Friday off and that's it .

Cheerful your mum sounds like mine and I behave the same as you. Not sure with her comments, if I could bring myself to not scrub the place. Always clean if we have visitors, regardless of who as well.

Happy Valentine's Day, Buddies! :) DS is at my parents' for a few days so DH and I can go out if we want...pretty sure we'll just end up watching a DVD in our sweatpants with some takeout or something wildly exciting like that! Anybody got plans?

Happy Valentines Day Buddy Benchers! :)

We don't have child care of any kind so no dinners out for us, but DS and I are just finishing up making a lovely candlelit dinner for three when DH gets home shortly! He has cut out hearts of all sizes and decorated them and is now covering the table and chairs with them.

So @ MNer meetup Valium! Must have been fun. We had a playdate today, I struggle with them tbh, but DS had a great time which is the point.

Not seen a movie since DS was born so I am quite out of the loop that way, hope it's good though Elmo! Your DH and I are on the same page with the martini's though. mmm I miss martinis!
