Three AIBU threads gone poof in an hour.

OP posts:
ChippingInNeedsSleep · 21/11/2011 12:18
  1. Benefit collecting mothers shouldn't stay pregnant

Which other two?

theincredibequeenofwands · 21/11/2011 12:19

I was washing up and missed the drama.....

:(

giraffesCantDookForApples · 21/11/2011 12:19

That will teach my to sleep in - missed all the good stuff!

MincePieFlavouredVoidka · 21/11/2011 12:21
  1. Thread about heavy periods
  2. Thread about being pissed off friend isnt coming to a wedding.
OP posts:
TartyMcFarty · 21/11/2011 12:21

The (harmless, I thought) spoof from the bride's perspective about the wedding invitation to the service only.

MNers are angry today!

squeakytoy · 21/11/2011 12:21

Didnt see the first 2, but no.3 was a troll thread.

Byeckerslike · 21/11/2011 12:23

Saw 1&3 but missed the one about heavy periods, how on earth does a thread about that become deletable! Shock

MincePieFlavouredVoidka · 21/11/2011 12:25

OP was posting for a 'friend' who had heavy periods. 'Friend' is being invited to a party all day and as she has heavy periods she doesnt know what she should do at the party wrt saintary wear.

Probably posted by a 13 yo boy.

OP posts:
lesley33 · 21/11/2011 12:26

Yes the periods one read like a troll - teenage boy.

Neuromantic · 21/11/2011 12:27

the periods was def a troll, and the counter-wedding one was a very lame attempt at humour.

ChippingInNeedsSleep · 21/11/2011 12:28

Missed the periods one. I hope it wasn't a young girl really needing help??

The wedding one - why did that go??

ChippingInNeedsSleep · 21/11/2011 12:29

Oh was there a counter wedding one? The one that's gone isn't the original one asking AIBU to be annoyed at friend not coming to my wedding'??

ViviPru · 21/11/2011 12:31

I couldn't understand why the OP on the unfit mothers thread was being made out as a fraud. I read several of her other MN ramblings contributions and they were all very much written in the same posting style Confused

Get0rf · 21/11/2011 12:31

I thought the benefits pregnancy thread would disappear.

This is a strange ol' place sometimes.

ItWasABoojum · 21/11/2011 12:31

Chipping this is the original thread - the troll was pretending to be the bride.

Neuromantic · 21/11/2011 12:32

Chipping, there was a thread last week about a bridezilla ditching a good friend from her wedding in favour of her dp's boss and then when friend queried it bridezilla sited friends depression as reason for not inviting her to full wedding. Friend was lovely, bride sounded like an utter horror. Todays was the brides perspectiove obviously lifted from thread.

WhoWhoWhoWho · 21/11/2011 12:33

Not seen any of these! How do they know the periods one wasn't written by a confused/curious teenage girl??? Just wondering.

allhailtheaubergine · 21/11/2011 12:35

I still want to know GetOrf's comment on the 'shouldn't stay pregnant' thread.

LoveBeingAFirework · 21/11/2011 12:37

See this is why I don't like visitors Grin

StealthPolarBear · 21/11/2011 12:38

I do like the new thread deleted messages

Get0rf · 21/11/2011 12:38

Oh was my original comment on shouldn't stay pregnant deleted?

I said 'oh piss off, you semi-literate div'.

Childish, but fuck it sometimes people on here are twatfaces.

mummymccar · 21/11/2011 12:41

I think the reason the wedding one was deleted was because the troll was just adamant that they were the bride even after posters had rumbled it and pointed out that it was making light of the guest's depression.
The period one was a bit weird but I agree, it may have been a really confused teenage girl.
I'm sure that somewhere there is an I.T class full of teenage boys laughing their heads off right now.

JessieLeGrund · 21/11/2011 12:42

GetOrf - have MNHQ issued you with a warning for making personal attacks? Like they did with DBF?

Maryz · 21/11/2011 12:42

ChippingInNeedsSleep · 21/11/2011 12:51

Thanks all :)

I don't see why the 'troll' wedding thread was deleted or why it was thought to be a troll? What does it have to do with Kittens thread? Hers was about not being invited to a reception & depression, the 'troll' thread about not going to the actual wedding ceremoney due to religion?! What am I missing??

Jessie - MN don't routinely send warnings over a 'Fuck Off' that's not why DBF was warned. (I love DBF and wish she was still here, but this is not the same thing at all).
