On www.rightmove.co.uk (or equivalent) which house is the most expensive nearest to where you live within 10 miles?

For us its this one:
www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-34723280.html

Its not bad but the snooker room looks like a WMC snooker room.

SingingSands · 03/10/2011 00:32

So, no idea what they want for it?!

The next most expensive was this

And for that price, I'd hope those sheep were included!!

M0naLisa · 03/10/2011 00:33

SingingSands · 03/10/2011 00:35

Actually, have just looked at the pictures from the first house. THIS BEDROOM actually made me laugh out loud! Not sure why, but it really tickled me Grin

SingingSands · 03/10/2011 00:37

Oof - link didn't work. It was from THIS HOUSE and is picture 11.

M0naLisa · 03/10/2011 00:38

too bigger bed for a small room, thats it, plus wtf is the huge lump under the pillows. you'd get a bad neck sleeping like that wouldnt you lol

M0naLisa · 03/10/2011 00:38

Tigerbomb · 03/10/2011 00:58

Mrs Huxtable, I remember that house on Grand Designs.

I'll toss you for it.

Byeckerslike · 03/10/2011 00:58

Mrshuxtable Shock i cannot believe they are selling that house! I remember it from GD, i will fight you for it! Only about a million mile commute for DH no probs!

Salmotrutta · 03/10/2011 00:58

For comparison of prices:

nice houses

Byeckerslike · 03/10/2011 00:58

X post tiger Grin

BertieBotts · 03/10/2011 01:00

This is mine!

BertieBotts · 03/10/2011 01:01

I want the pool, and the pillars look cool. Rest of the inside is boring though.

BertieBotts · 03/10/2011 01:02

I saw the Grand Designs one on To Buy or Not to Buy too. They didn't go for it, said it was too modern Confused

MrsHuxtable · 03/10/2011 01:02

I never even knew the house was on GD!

Byeckerslike, who cares about the husband when you can have a house like that Wink!

Byeckerslike · 03/10/2011 01:06

BertieBotts · 03/10/2011 01:08

I like that, NoHun, the modern furniture is much nicer than the fussy antique stuff they always seem to put in big old houses.

elliephant · 03/10/2011 01:09

That grand design house was on the market 2 years ago for 1.9 million

perfumedlife · 03/10/2011 01:09

Makes you wonder whats wrong with it though, the grand designs house. I remember the stress they went through building it, their forever home. Forever turned out to be such a short time Hmm

elliephant · 03/10/2011 01:15

Personally I remember thinking they were crazy to build a house on a lake with small babies - I would have had a serious stress attack following a roaming toddler around that walkway

NoHunIntended · 03/10/2011 01:20

Bertie, mine is computer-generated modern furniture, not even real.

I like your pool!
