I live fairly close to Wynyard, though. The ultimate in tacky. Just how many columns and fake pillars is it possible to clamp onto the front of new build houses?

Well, you obviously all live in much posher areas than me. There is NO house for sale over £1million within 10 miles of me - but this one is a fairly respectable £950,000.
