That I'm an escort girl/call girl/high class prositute (whatever you want to call it) ...

I love my job, I'm very good at it, I pay taxes, it's not illegal and I help a lot of people. So why should I spend my life apologising for it/lying about it/defending myself??

  • Yes have name changed in case I get flamed... which in itself is depressing!

I say good for you if it makes you happy, GFE.

I can't see that you're hurting anyone, although one might think you were, given some of the replies.

I do wonder what you were hoping to achieve with this thread though?

That's tres amusing PlentyOfPrimroses Grin

Why not go into partnership with a lawyer/judge client and add Footballer's, Actor's, Banker'sGirlfriendExperience(s) to your website OP?

Bupcakes I seem to recall that you've had some experience of throwing caution to the wind and I've no doubt you'll clean up (no pun intended) by offering a Wayne Rooney Extra Special to a select group ofdesperate discerning clients.

frantic51 · 22/05/2011 15:50

What puzzles me is, why people who think this thread is just attention seeking are on here at all?! Grin Happy to pander I suppose Hmm

I had a friend who did this to pay her way through university. She suffered no ill effects and left uni with money in her bank account rather than a whacking great overdraft.

It's not for everyone, I couldn't do it, but for those who can and are doing it as a life choice rather than being coerced into it I say, good for you!

As for taking risks in hotel rooms, I know a music teacher who was attacked by a teenage male pupil with a knife in her own home! She thought for a while she would never be able to play again.

Very few occupations are totally without risks.

Frantic - I can think of quite a few occupatations where you don't risk your life every day.

bupcakesandcunting · 22/05/2011 16:00

"Bupcakes I seem to recall that you've had some experience of throwing caution to the wind"

I have no idea what you're talking about Hmm

frantic51 · 22/05/2011 16:01

Dittany, if a guy wants to be a rentboy it's none of my beeswax. More power to him Biscuit I didn't go to uni straight from school as a matter of fact, not that it's any of your beeswax. Hmm I ran away from school/home at 17 to get away from an abusive father. But I can assure you that the grants did not cover living expenses in London! Not by a long shot!

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 22/05/2011 16:01

Come on then OP, you've offered twice and been asked once - what's your website URL?

I worked in Blockbusters but each to their own I guess [shrug]

DooinMeCleanin · 22/05/2011 16:09

Are you bored today op? Seems a funny thing to start a thread about on a parentng site. Not sure what kind of reaction you were hoping for.

FWIW YANBU. Your body, your choice. If your happy go for it. Makes no odds to me. I had a few friends who were working girls. Most of them were happy with their choices. They were all very nice girls.

QuintessentialOldMoo · 22/05/2011 16:11

Prove you are not ashamed and post under your real name then.

meh

and Biscuit

frantic51 · 22/05/2011 16:12

Why should I choose a course that didn't suit so well? I paid my way by playing piano/singing in pubs/clubs (not very salubrious ones, not sure that I was any safer than she was particularly) but I didn't earn as much as she did! Hmm So I had less time for studying. She earned as much in one evening as I did in four! She got the better degree Envy Grin

When were you at university? Did you manage on your grant with no extra income?

How many of us can truly say we be happy with this if one of children ever had to post this about themselves at some point?

AmyStake · 22/05/2011 16:19

I love the term "high class escort". Such an oxymoron.

frantic51 · 22/05/2011 16:20

I am a Roman Catholic. I don't believe in sex outside marriage. But that's my choice in my life. I don't expect to be questioned about my choices, just as I don't question others.

whatsallthehullaballoo · 22/05/2011 16:22

Hmm I do not really have anything to add except I wish I had a body that people would be willing to pay for. Not saying that it is for sale or anything...but just wish I would be 'wanted'. I guess that is part of the buzz of being a prostitute - knowing that you have an asset to trade and that you can completely support yourself.

Nancy66 · 22/05/2011 16:27

whatsallthehullaballoo - think you're confusing Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman with reality. Most prostitutes look rough.

FuppyGish · 22/05/2011 16:28

Whatsallthe - I have an asset to trade and can completely support myself, its called my brain. Aim higher!

DooinMeCleanin · 22/05/2011 16:29

Dd2 can get DH to part with large amounts of cash Envy Dd2 can egt Dh to pretty much anything just by grinning and saying 'peese Dabby really really peese'
