Please please advise me!

Can someone please advise me what to do. DGM and her boyfriend (SEE OTHER THREAD) have just left to go to the hotel they are staying in. And something irreplaceable and very precious to me has gone missing. I am devastated. Literally sat in here in tears. What do I do. I'm tempted to go to were they are staying and look. But all hell will brake loose if I start accusing people. What do I do???
I'm gutted.

i would go there and say you were wondering if it had been picked up by mistake or one of the LO might have put it in their stuff by mistake

Was it something that originally belonged to your grandmother? Could she have somehow thought it was still hers?

Or was it lying around and someone has put it away safe?

You need to decide whether the item is more important than the relationship, in the event of them being innocent.

If so, then you need to call the police. No point going round there yourself - what are you going to do? Strip-search them?

I wouldn't accuse or ask until you're 100% sure it's not in the house, some things do unaccountably go missing and turn up in the weirdest of places.

You need to try to think clearly where it could be. If it has gone perhaps this is the wake up call needed. Losing an item is not as bad as what could have happened.

Can you phone the hotel they are staying in and casually ask them if they've accidently picked this up?

Would your GM lie for him? You would have to have them both searched and then prove that it was him. TBH it is going to come to a head one way or another.

When did you last see it? And where? And did either of them have opportunity to go to that place unsupervised?
