Benefit Bashing

A mum I know and her DP with two children live in a two bed (nice) HA house. Neither of them work and have not worked for as long as I've known them (two years) I don't know about before then. She has told me they are trying for another baby, not to get a bigger house or anything, just because they want four children eventally. I would love four children but can't have that many because for one we just can't afford four.

AIBU to feel a bit pissed off that they can have more children and I can't or am I just a jealous benefit basher.

ps They are both nice and don't have a flatscreen TV.

TCS- You're doing your self no favours you know. You just seem fucking jealous! Pathetic.

Oh and for the record, I don't use fake tan. And the english rose complexion is pale. Big deal, you just sound like a typical jealous fat mummy.

StarlightPrincess · 19/02/2011 22:37

Oh, I don't trowel on the slap, btw. I'm lucky enough to have good skin.

KazBarTheFriendlyGhost · 19/02/2011 22:38

Starlight, I chatted briefly to you earlier on this thread and you agreed that your provocative picture was not the greatest first impression, that's up to you what pictures you put on though....

I need to say this though and I mean it in the nicest possible way...

You are a very attractive young girl, but IMO your personality (or how you are conducting yourself right now) ooozes ugly...

I'm sorry if that offends,do what you like with that comment (i really dont want to get in a scrap but if someone said that to me whether it be on MN or in RL it'd make me take a good long look at myself)

StarlightPrincess · 19/02/2011 22:39

And what TSC is saying to me isn't?

StarlightPrincess · 19/02/2011 22:40

She's calling me hard faced, saying I look like a poledancer FROM A BUNCH OF FUCKING PICTURES! It's really stupid, she's the one acting like a jealous bitch, not me.

Has the world gone mad? Has anyone actually read what she wrote?! She attacked me first! All because I don't agree with her views!

georgeorwell · 19/02/2011 22:41

hey nosuchthingassociety i AM the left. i find that it's usually the right that resorts to personal comments and wind ups.

whatever, in this case it's getting downright weird all this starlight baiting and has foregone any reasoned debate. let's get back to the topic du jour oui??

StarlightPrincess · 19/02/2011 22:42

It is, it really is. Apparently I'm supposed to just let her call me names and not defend myself.

KazBarTheFriendlyGhost · 19/02/2011 22:43

starlight is young, no? she has ample time to reflect on the error of her misguided posts and come round to the logical, left leaning way of thinking. and - barring that - she'll change her profile pics.

KazBarTheFriendlyGhost · 19/02/2011 22:48

exactly my point Grin

here comes the temper.......

i can see a 'message withdrawn at posters request' in its place in the morning...

Wook · 19/02/2011 22:51

Starlight I have to admit I was intrigued enough to look at this pic, and it made me think of the kind of thing quite young teenagers put on their facebook pages- if they came to the attention of the school someone would probably have a word with either the teenager or the parents or both. It is a bit incongruous to use such a pic (by which I mean a pic that is essentially asking 'dear viewer, wouldn't you like to have sex with me?') on Mumsnet, but each to their own! Your choice.
Personally, as GeorgeOrwell said, it's your opinions that worry me. But a little more experience of adult, working, family rearing life may change your thinking. Or may not. We'll see.

Wook · 19/02/2011 22:52

God that sounded really patronising. What's worse is that I think I meant it to! My thoughts opinions have changed a lot since I was 23.

BitOfFun · 19/02/2011 22:52

Oh Lordy, I'd hidden this thread until TSC mentioned she was having a barney...am I going to have to get my tit and cock pictures out again?

Wook · 19/02/2011 22:53

I've got a LOT more patronising for a start

FooffyShmoofer · 19/02/2011 22:54

Really Kazbar. I can't.Grin Something tells me it would't bother her a jot.

(Sorry came back from earlier am Shock and Confused at the turn of events.

FooffyShmoofer · 19/02/2011 22:56

BOF Yes. Yes you do.
