I'm very surprised by how many people let their DCs name the pets.

We have a cat called Granville

I have a goldfish called Biscuit

Guinea pigs called Chester, Bertie and Milo.

My friend has a cat called Richard.

I have a black cat called Salem

my friend's parents called their rabbits Hotpot and Casserole, and that's how they were labelled when they ended up in the freezer

I called my first lamb Liza (after Ms Minelli, I was big fan at the time )

My JRT is called Dusty after the late great Dusty Springfield

two dogs, Ralf and Doris. Also a Budgie called Margot. DD's Rabbit is called Mathilda Muffin Cheeks at all times and is NEVER abreviated. Ever.

We have two tabby cats- Shrek and Fiona. They really suit their names- he is a lovable lump and she is a princess! But we can't even blame any DC for naming them

Fish is not a fish at all.

He's a beautiful long haired, white German Shepherd Dog. :)
