Alopogies.

Most notable names was Arnie Schwarzerhamster for one of my hamster.

And I now have four rabbits Roxanne, Chewy, Sandy and Bertie.

Chewy was from her compulsion to try and eat/lick you when she was a baby!

We have a cat called Spanners. Her brother, who died young, was called Pants. When I was little we had a cat called Yucky Squitters.

In our pond we have a tench called Ted and four loach, all called Ken.

My g'pig mentioned earlier (Willy Wonka) had very cute babies with Hairy Mary I was about 8, so the names were perfectly innocent to me!

I called my first pet (Green Budgie) Peter. He was named after the ice cream van man. Can you see who was important to me aged 4.

Peter (god rest his soul) died aged 13 and was replaced by a blue budgie named Roberto Budgio

Roberto sadly met an untimely end during a cheese on toast making incident. I think thats for another thread though.

I had goldfish called Starsky and Hutch once....

oh no!!! please can you explain the Roberto name though?

Someone I knew called their kitten Mischief, I've always found that very appropriate.

My first hamster was called Tarzan, not because I was especially hung up on Tarzan, but because my father's first hamster's name had been Tarzan

My little brother chose his name he was only about 8 at the time. I thought it was quite inventive for an 8 year old :o

My DSs goldfish is called Pig.

We have a very expensive purebred cat that is the kitten of showcats

A kitten called 'Alfie'
A Syrian hamster called 'Kung Fu Hamster'
A rusian hamster called 'Tallulah'
2 Harvest mice called 'Twinkle & Tink2' (you can imagine what happend to original Tink!)
2 Degu called 'Milo & Scrat'
2 Rabbits called 'Paddy & Angel'
And a tortiose called 'little Bo-peep'

My chickens names were the best though if i do say so myself, Trixie, Dixie & Pixie!

Very of anyone with a dog called Dave - i am desperate for a Dave pet but my DH is having none of it!

Our labrador pup is called The Foosa (of Madagascar fame) - when we thought that she was going to be a he her name was Bismarc (DS is called Otto).
I had budgies called Ergie and Bergie years ago...
I had a friend who called her dog Dogdog, her horse Horse and the cat was called Kitypuss - surprised that her sons weren't boy 1 and boy2!

My Lickle doggie is called Pickle,in fact another mumsnetter has named her doggie after my doggie! Best name ever!!!

Ohhhh I have a cat called Dave!!! and another named Pants

ahh i knew a Kittypuss..if it was Hertfordshire we may have known same person!

I have 5 cats:
Samhain (jet black, I named her)
Petie (dd named him after a puppy in a book)
Blue (ds1 named her aged 18 months because blue was his favourite colour, she's black and white)
Muggs (dp named him)
Dude (I named him.... it's brialliant as if he does something bold the whole house chants 'Duuuuude!')
