Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo, AF, HE, Cheesey and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all Smile

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up!

That sounds stressful tiredmum hope you are ok?

Hope your cold eases off soon cheerful - colds are rotten.

roobear - a baby? How exciting! Do tell - I love hearing about baby news Grin

CheerfulYank · 20/01/2011 21:10

A baby, a baby! Tell us everything, roobear! :)

Yes, what's going on at your DS' school, tiredmum? Hope everything's all right?

Tiredmumno1 · 20/01/2011 21:21

Thanks ladies,

it has been a bit stressful, my eldest ds is statemented and we felt he was not being given the help he needed and what was laid out in the statement, we tried talking to them for the millionth time, but they wouldnt listen, we felt like we were being fobbed off, not to mention the rudeness.

this new school seems much nicer they are all lovely, and the boys had a lovely day, which is all that mattered, fingers crossed it stays that way.

roo you must tell us about your new addition, congrats btw Smile

Teaandcakeplease · 20/01/2011 22:50

I can't even remember Roo saying she was pregnant, are there pics on your profile Love seeing babies cute piccies.

I seem to not have much to say these days do I? But helloooo Smile

CheerfulYank · 23/01/2011 05:33

How's everyone?

I'm staying at my best friend's house tonight; we calculated that this is our eighteenth year of having sleepovers, since the first one I can remember is her birthday party the year she turned 11. :) We went to see No Strings Attached at the movie theater...it was really cute if you like the girlie movies, which I definitely do! :o

Has anyone else seen/read anything good lately? I'm always looking for recommendations!

elmofan · 23/01/2011 17:50

I've been here for over two years now but still feel invisible on here sometimes [except on the buddy bench of course} but i tend to read threads instead of posting on them so my own fault Grin

Have fun tonight with the sleepover cheerful Smile

valiumredhead · 24/01/2011 15:50

Hello :)

Was away for the weekend visiting family, all a bit stressful and pleased to be home. I've been so cold ALL day, I think I might be getting a bug........... ick!

Hope everyone's ok?

CheerfulYank · 24/01/2011 16:08

I had the worst blimmin' cold all week; it's finally getting better now. I hope you're not getting something similar valium!

Urghhhhhhhh what an awful morning tea Sad

I have had too many dissaproving looks at ds when he was in the middle of a big tantrum to count - I feel your pain.

CheerfulYank · 25/01/2011 16:08

Have commented. What a b*tch!

Teaandcakeplease · 26/01/2011 20:30

Wow it's quiet on here now. Had ex H over today to see the kids. Still cannot escape this feeling that them moving in this Summer is a bad idea and that they should just call things quits now. Bizarre we're divorced but amicable but this gut feeling won't shift. I do not want him back. I'm happy alone with my gorgeous kids. Iyswim?

OP posts:
valiumredhead · 26/01/2011 20:40

Teaandcakeplease · 26/01/2011 20:50

Oooo heavens no. His OW is at Uni and graduates soon and they're supposedly moving in together this Summer.

OP posts:
Tiredmumno1 · 26/01/2011 21:28

Oh blimey tea, i hope that wont be awkward

Elmo of course i mentioned my buddies here as my faves thats cos you all are Smile

I hope everyone is ok, and the school is going fine at mo, i just hope it stays like that, although its cost a fortune getting all new school stuff for them. At least they get to play together at lunchtime which they love Smile

Tiredmumno1 · 26/01/2011 21:42

And tea that woman was a bitch, you shoulda reminded her that she was in watford so she didnt have a leg to stand on herself (i am allowed to say that as i lived there most my life lol) you actually live in one of the nicest places in watford, she probably lives in south oxhey or summit, and if she thinks she knows what asda is like then she must shop there aswell as sainsbo anyway, bloody cah, dont take it to heart she really sounded like a prat

Teaandcakeplease · 26/01/2011 21:43

Valium have some light reading: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/relationships/914075-How-do-you-know-when-you-should-just-give-up My old thread with my sorry saga on. Realised my first post made absolutely no sense to you. Hopefully the other girls kind of get it Confused

I'm terribly tired and making typos galore! So I'm off to bed now Smile

Tiredmum - yes yes to school uniform. DD needed it for the nursery she began 2 weeks ago. Ouch! And I only had one to kit out. Are they all ok then at this new school?

OP posts:
Teaandcakeplease · 26/01/2011 21:45

I forgot about that Tiredmum. LOL. We live quite close, I kept thinking we should arrange a cuppa but with pregnancy and other stuff we've never arranged it.

I do like Abbots Langley. It's a nice area.
