Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo, AF, HE, Cheesey and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all Smile

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up!

My first time on this thread.

I seem to have been sending or receiving or reading lots of fairly agressive emails and postings over the last 72 hours. It has all rather taken the fun out of Mumsnet. Sad

It is nice that there are not too many rules in Mumsnet but it has really started to annoy me that the same few posters seem to be able to flaunt the few rules that do exist with impunity.

Its ds's birthday tomorrow he will be 12

Sad hope DS is feeling a little better today cheerful poor little mite xx

gomummygo · 28/01/2011 13:08

Aww Cheerful, poor DS. :( Hope he is feeling better soon. It's so hard to see them ill, isn't it? :(

I feel your pain Tea, early morning here too. DS up at 4 after being woken by noise and decided that was a perfectly reasonable time to start the day! No convincing him otherwise.

Welcome Deja, I agree with BeerTricks also, think you should definitely block the emails. Sorry to hear that someone is doing that to you.

Poor DD Elmo, DS also split his lip recently and it looks like such a painful cut to have. Hope it heals quickly as his did.

Teaandcakeplease · 28/01/2011 13:21

Oh my Dejavus, that's horrid, definitely follow Beertricks advice. I don't spend that much time on AIBU at all really. Can't be bothered with the big bun fight Smile I stay in other areas but it means I'm not as well known Smile

Your poor DD elmo Sad

gomummygo · 28/01/2011 23:08

I think we need a new quiz. I am terrible at it. Any volunteers?

Candleshoe · 28/01/2011 23:10

Hi gomummygo! What kind of quiz?

gomummygo · 28/01/2011 23:16

Hi Candle - just random questions. I try to start them but am so bad at it! Blush Things you like/dislike/do/have done/want to do/just totally random. I do think one of the questions should be What Will Tiredmum Name DC3? Grin

Candleshoe · 28/01/2011 23:22

I've always liked 'Syphilis' for a girl and 'Filthy McNasty' for a boy!

Or Josephine and Lawrence...

Candleshoe · 28/01/2011 23:40

Or 'Casio' is quite pretty for a girl...'Haddock' sounds good and manly for a little chap.

may have been at the vino collapso!

CheerfulYank · 28/01/2011 23:47

I don't have time to do anything but giggle at candle's suggestions :o

I think it'll be Alicia or Adam :)

Tiredmumno1 · 29/01/2011 00:52

Poppy grace is now in the running Grin

and candle i shall have a think about them names lol Grin

Teaandcakeplease · 29/01/2011 08:06

Oh candle you're so funny, so glad you've joined the bench. Can you drink some more vino tonight and amuse us some more? You clearly have a wicked sense of humour Grin

< Hands valium a BIG slice of birthday cake & a cuppa> Aww thanks valium
Still don't know the results of the BP I rang the surgery on Friday morning & i was told by the nurse that the doctor needed to look over the results of the 24 hour monitor & they would be in touch so still waiting .
